About six months ago I stopped TRT and a few weeks after my knee started to hurt when I ran. I had an MRI and it showed some osteoarthritis and a horizontal tear in my medial meniscus.
I’m curious if the TRT helped “cover” my knee pain?
I can only speak from my experience. My resting heart rate was elevated while on TRT. Since I’ve been off, for over six months, it’s in the low 50’s and sometimes 48-49.
it worried me.
I believe it was from my blood getting thicker, water retention and diet.
I now eat clean, exercise 6...
I’ve been of T for 6 months. When I first tested I was 180 and felt aweful. Got on T and it was amazing...for a while. After 3 years I decided to ween myself off and I feel fine. Morning erections, energy, and libido are great. In fact, I would say I’m better than I was on T.
However...
I’ve been off for over 6 months. I feel better off than on.
Blood pressure on was 140/90 most days now it’s 110/70.
Zero anxiety.
Lost 10 pounds immediately and down 15 this year.
Lift six days a week, eat meat and some fruit for diet.
I’ve yet to get my T rechecked and will soon.
It’s been about 4 months since coming off T and I wanted to give an update.
My Blood pressure is good and not high as it was when on TRT.
My anxiety is gone.
No more chest pains.
Libido is great.
Sleep is great.
I have not tested my t levels because I don’t know that the number...
At that level I would try other options first.
Are you getting enough sleep?
Are you getting enough sunshine?
Are you over weight how’s your diet?
Do you do lift?
Do you do a lot of cardio? (Kills T)
It’s been a while since my last update.
Felling good overall. Libido is not an issue, like I thought it would be.
I’m still on a low/no carb diet whilst intermittent fasting. I’m down, as of today, 13 pounds.
I lift three days a week doing the big three (squat, bench and dead lift)...
It’s been 10 days since my last post and since then I have not taken any testosterone or hcg. My mood seems better and I’m a little more tired. I have noticed a drop in anxiety and negative thoughts. This seems to be okay at this point. The one thing I’ve yet to test is working out due to a...
I've Reduced the amount of TRT I take every week and have been increasing my hcg. I’m currently at .15 twice a week and 700iu hcg twice a week. Next week I’ll be at .10 twice a week and so forth. I’m weening myself off. The interesting thing is I’ve been waking up with morning wood EVERYDAY...
It’s a combination of things. I’m not 100% sure I needed it in the first place. It was low the first test (180) and two weeks later I was tested again and it was up 100 points. It has raised my Anxiety a lot and that’s been frustrating. I’ll have Dr. Saya guide me through it.
I’m curious...
I was on weekly and felt the same low. I switched to twice weekly and don’t feel the lows I did on once a week. If it makes you feel better I’m only on 60mg a week. More isn’t always better.
I have an eye twitch too. I believe my twitching is from TRT. However, you're not on T, so I'm not sure. Maybe your T levels are really high from the monotherapy.
