will hang on, and wait. Hard not to be impatient.
without looking at my labs what are the tests
for thyroid? I think my provider said he thought my thyroid was ok.
After being on Androgel for two weeks (3 pumps per day)
I got my total T and free T tested at labcorp
Total T 578 range 348 - 1197
Free T 27.2 range 6.6 - 18.1
I have been feeling somewhat better, noticing spontaneus wood
on occasion. Still tired more than I should be.
Any idea why...
Having some experience with the data broker business I
am always suspicous of giving out my personally identifiable information
I would be glad to have them invalidate the results for purposes of medical diagnosis.if I can
then remain anonymous
I have a fake name, birthdate and address that I typically
use.If anyone ever wanted to committ identity theft a lab or Dr. office we be a great source.
Will let you know what happens.

Accidentally took 4mg of anastozole (bottle and pills look remarkably similar to another prescription)
Called poison control, they said not to worry, during drug trials subjects took as much as 60mg per day with no ill effects.
I have been taking 3 pumps of androgel daily, have not been...
He suggested 1mg twice a week. The scrip is actually written for 1mg per day for 30 days, I think he did that to lower my co-pay (or they misread his handwriting...)
I told him I was considering waiting untill my next blood test and he said he thought that was reasonable but I asked him for...
Coast watcher, the doc gave me a scrip for anastozole and I did get it filled but have not been taking it.
The consensus on these boards seems to be to avoid AI if possible, Is there a minimum dose to be effective?
The scrip is for 1mg pills, seems like it would be very hard to split any...
Paul-E is correct the range for Free T should be pg/ml not ng/ml.... (thanks Paul-E)
the numbers are very low but all I can surmise is low T to begin with combined with an extra 100LBs of aromatizing adipose tissue will really get your T levels down......
I am trying to make lifestyle changes, walk more, eat less, lift weights and cut back on beer/wine.
I am going to start the tRT though, i was first diagnosed with low T (250ish total T at questlabs) 10 years and 80lbs ago, so I really think the odds of me being able to get to a decent level...
I have started walking 30mins 5X per week any other suggestions for cardio?
That's an excellent start. Look to increase the duration over the course of the summer. As was noted above, lifestyle changes are so important.
Re; the CRP. the Doc did inquire if my primary care doc was aware
and had checked for Cardiac issues, which he has. I am also sceduled
for a treadmill ECG stress test in a couple of weeks as part of
a thorough physical exam.
Labs were done in house at Dr's office. Don't know what test he ran.
Since he is a Doc that only does TRT I hope he ran ultra sensitive.
Is there a more specific description of the estradiol test so that I can verify?
Regarding CRP he said gee you have a lot of inflammation in your body. maybe...
I think your situation is more common than you might think (not a big help I Know)
How are your prolactin levels? High prolactin can cause issues with orgasm.
Cabergolin has been used to reduce prolactin levels I have heard.
