Accidentally took 4MG of Anastrozole

Accidentally took 4mg of anastozole (bottle and pills look remarkably similar to another prescription)

Called poison control, they said not to worry, during drug trials subjects took as much as 60mg per day with no ill effects.

I have been taking 3 pumps of androgel daily, have not been taking any anastrozole was going to wait untill after my next blood test to consider adding anastrozole

While I may not suffer any acute symptoms, wondering if anyone has any thoughts or advice (ok other than to be more observant........)

How long till your next labs, it will take time to clear out the effect of anastozole.

The half life of anastrozole is 48-50 hours, regardless of the size of the dose. It will clear out in a week or so and you will be back to where you were. Aromatization will be reduced during that time and E2 levels will drop a bit. If you were running on the low side you may even feel some symptoms of low E such as joint pain. But aromatization will pick back up again and you will get back to your normal.

Don't do it again! You have been warned.

E will be ZERO but you'll be fine in a week.

Thanks for the re-assurance, was going to do labs in a week but may wait longer now.

I also painted the bottle orange with a highlighter so this doesn't happen again!
