It may be true that 5 units is likely the minimum that will work for most people, but not all. When I first started Trimix, 3 units would keep me hard for about 4 hours. That was almost 15 years ago. Now I use 13 units for about 2 to 3 hours.
I think your mixture is a little less concentrated than the standard mixture. Anyway, the dose you are taking is not enough for you. Try 25 units next and then 30 units.
Something I don't understand here. I just pulled out my last lab results from Quest Labs. Quest states that the Reference Range for Free Testosterone is 30.0 - 135.0 pg/mL. What am I missing?
My insurance company (Blue Cross) will pay for testosterone only as long as my T stays below 800. They also pay for labs 100% and doctor visits (although the visits are labeled as general and not specifically for TRT.)
My doctor wants my T levels to stay within the normal range. Quest labs...
My experience is not consistent with the study conclusion. I started TRT at age 70 and had been working out regularly for many years. Within a month or 2 after starting TRT, I could lift roughly 25% more on all my exercises.
I am also an avid bike rider. After starting TRT my biking speed...
If you are feeling OK, then don't go on TRT. TRT means injections for life and having to be carefully monitored to minimize side effects.
That said, I am on TRT and i love it. But I started at 70 and am now 75. For me, injecting for life is not not as long a time. And loss of fertility is...
5 years on TRT. About 100 mg every 4 or 5 days. (I'm not very strict on being consistent.) That gives me fairly high T levels - about 1000 just before next injection. Never HCG. Tried a little arimidex a few years ago, but it didn't seem to have any impact.
Results are terrific. I am 75...
Your course of action should be based on your symptoms. Your total T is borderline low, but many men do just fine with the same T as you. By itself, that is not enough to justify TRT. However, your free T and is quite low, and is probably the more important number.
The problem with TRT is...
In my experience, I cannot reliably adjust how long my erection will last by adjusting my dosage. My normal dosage usually results in a hard erection for 1 to 2 hours. One hour sounds like a long time, but sometimes I do not know exactly when sexual activity will really start, so the 1-hour...
That's incredible. The ranges from the two labs are totally incompatible. They are clearly not measuring the same thing.
However, your free T moved from the bottom of the range before TRT to the top of the range with TRT. From what I have read, free T is really more important than total T...
My doctor recommended TRT to treat osteoporosis that was not getting better using fosamax (age 75 now). It worked. I no longer have osteoporosis. However, there were side effects - larger muscles, more strength, less fat, and more thoughts about sex. But I can live with the side effects.
For me pantoprozole has been I miracle drug. I started it 2 years ago after suffering from heartburn for 55 years. The heartburn would wake me up several times a night. Tagamet, prilosec, nexium, tums etc. were not effective in stopping it. With pantoprozole my heartburn is gone. I was able...
I would add a qualifier to Vince's statement: "FOR SOME PEOPLE, The best way to correct your poor lipid panel is by correcting your poor eating habits."
Almost 20 years before starting TRT I had a near-fatal heart artery blockage. Fortunately, it was repaired by angioplasty before I had a...
Somehow the thought of injecting in my shoulder scares me, but perhaps I should give it a try. Exactly where do you inject on the shoulder? Front? Side? High or low?
Having a total T of 1178 using only 132 mg/week shows that you respond strongly to T. Many TRT users think they feel better at about 800 than at higher T levels. On the other hand, I keep my T at about 1000 - 1200 (low point just before next injection) and I like the benefits that I get and do...
I have used both the Becton ****enson and Easy Touch 31 gauge 5/16 inch needles for injecting in belly fat. The BD needle worked well enough, but the Easy Touch needle was very slow to load and required much more pressure to inject - basically unsatisfactory.
Currently I use a BD 29 gauge 1/2...
I'm definitely hooked. Since first trying trimix, I have never attempted sex without it. I am hooked on unfailingly being as hard as humanly possible for a prolonged time instead of getting barely hard enough to penetrate on a good day and often not even that hard.
That was for a syringe kept at room temperature. I have never noticed any decrease in effectiveness of refrigerated trimix. I have kept vials frozen for over a year without and noticeable decrease in effectiveness.
Yeh, I know anxiety can kill an erection, but at least for me the anxiety came about because of a real physical problem. I think for most people who used to have good reliable sex, the physical problem comes first and that causes the anxiety.
I have been using trimix for over 10 years and 1000 injections and have had no problems with scaring or peyronies.
Sometimes the injection site bleeds. I always apply pressure for a little over a minute and the bleeding always stops.
Since the first time I used trimix, I have never attempted...
From my experience the effects of trimix are generally quite consistent. The only thing I can think of is that perhaps your last injection did not go where it was supposed to.
I keep my 5 ml vial of trimix frozen and just thaw it out when I want to load pins. I load 10 pins at a time. I put 5 of those pins in the frig and the other 5 in the freezer.
I have never detected any reduction in effectiveness or any other problems using this method, and I have had vials in...
So I will give you my point of view based on using Trimix for about 10 years and injecting probably more than 1000 times.
15 units may or may not have been sufficient for you. The effect from trimix is increased with sexual interest and manual stimulation. In a sexual situation (instead of a...
Some advice that my father gave me a long time ago: Never quit a job until you have another one lined up.
Of course, my father grew up during the Great Depression.
Viagra is great as long as it works adequately for you. No reason to use trimix if viagra works well. But if (or when) viagra is not longer adequate, then trimix is great and in my 10-years experience using trimix, I think it is safe once you figure out the correct dosage.
Trimix gets me at least as hard as I have ever been in my life, and I stay that hard longer than I was ever able to do in my youth.
I doubt I could ever come close to that without trimix no matter how hard I tried to "fix it." What if the cause is just aging? I'm about to turn 75.
