Wanted to reply with my experience as this thread is very interesting. I’ve been on TRT around 2 years now. I started at 200mg a weekly split dosing. This put me around 1300 in the trough and Free about 37 with a top lab of 21. I felt great at first but started to feel worse and worse...
Everything so far has been going great since getting my dose dialed in for TRT. Turned out everything looks really good at 70mg every 4 days subcutaneous. No need for an AI and no HCT issues.
Only thing that bothers me is my HDL has dropped to 38. My total cholesterol looked really good at...
Absolutely. I was already on lexapro for mild depression and panic which did help. However, the Testosterone over time has unquestionably changed my mental state for the better.
I tended to be an extreme worrier and over thinker which I think drove some of the depression and also the panic...
Hey madman! Thanks for the response and I think you are doing it the smart way. Twice a week was DEFINITELY better for me than once a week. I really don't even notice a decline before my next shot. I even had to set up reminders in my phone and I'm usually surprised it's already time for the...
True. It was partially my fault because I had some friends who recommended that level and my doc said that was the high end but we could start there and see the results.
I found it interesting that it took about 5-6 months to continue building up to the point where I was way over the limit...
I also wanted to note that in addition to the results above my chronic palpitations (benign) have reduced by about 95%. I also experienced an almost total stoppage of my panic disorder.
If those were the only benefits I received I would do it again no question.
Just wanted to share what I experienced through my first year of TRT as I thought some may find it interesting or helpful.
I started with an initial total test that hovered between 250 and 350 from my early 20s to 40 when I decided to start.
I started with 200mg a week from my doctor...
Just got back from my appt and doc said the same thing. 65 is not of concern to him. Strangely I continue to have to lower my dose to stay in an acceptable range.
With 80mg every 4 days I was 1200 in the trough.
I found this interesting:

From what I have read high protein as well as heavy lifting raises both AST and ALT. There is supposedly another test I think GGT? That supposedly will show normal if the increase is due to diet and training but abnormal if hepatitis or something else is to blame.
Just curious if any of you have gotten elevated ALT levels from TRT. I've been told high protein diets and hard weight training can cause it as well. I'm trying to figure out a cause.
Mine came back as normal AST but ALT was 65 and normal is 45 I believe in the test I took.
Everything...
Thanks! Honestly I give the credit to this site and all of you that helped with my fears and questions. My doctor basically agreed to try it my way and that was based on the info I received here.
He is even talking about swapping other patients to smaller more frequent injections based on...
My doctor is still against HCG so I am debating getting it from another provider. I'm doing great without but my reason is what about the future? What if something happens and I can't get my Testosterone script anymore and I've chemically castrated myself. That is the one thing that still...
Wanted to drop by and give some feedback on my treatment so far. Everything is still going well. Strength in the gym is huge. Sex drive went up and has stayed at a healthy level. Mood is improved. Not a huge improvement in motivation but it is better. Coordination is better and so is...
No nothing except the Test. That's why I thought it was so strange. I literally changed nothing except to add in the Hawthorne for BP and the DHEA. We will see if the the changes stay or thinks shrink up again. I just found it very odd.
I've had a bit of a weird situation. My testes had definitely shrunk noticeably and drawn up after being on TRT. However, about a week ago they seem to have made a recovery to their previous state. They are no longer drawn up and the size and firmness seems back to normal.
I haven't...
I use Watson with a 28g 1/2 inch needle. Interesting info on drawing the oil slowly. I inject air into the vial first. Then I draw way back and let it fill past my dosage. Push the excess back into the vial. Then I take the needle out and draw a pocket of air into the syringe and flick the...
For what it is worth I inject twice a week in legs and delts rotating each time. On top of that I eat very clean and train hard 7-10 hours a week. I don't know if it helps but I figure it couldn't hurt.
Also for the moment I don't use HCG
Hey Everyone,
Things have been going pretty smoothly for me the last 3 weeks or so. Heart rate is back down and BP is a nice 115/75. I just got my lab results back and I think things look good! I do 100mg of cyp twice a week.
TT 840
FT 21.9
Estrogen sensitive 21
SHBG 34.5
Hemoglobin 16.4...
I just wanted to see if any of you had opinions on your experience with TRT including HCG vs just the Test.
I've noticed the testicle shrinkage starting and it is somewhat troublesome. I'm not sure why except maybe psychologically.
My doctor is totally against the use of HCG so I would...
That's great to hear! I don't think I was at rock bottom yet. I was in the 200-300s. However, my mood was so bad that it was damaging my relationships and probably my health.
It's amazing how much more mellow and relaxed I am on TRT.
Hey Demars,
I'm new to this as well but I can tell you I didn't have good luck with the gel but I know some men do. As far as dosing I think your best bet is to do what the doctor says and then use your follow up blood tests to adjust the dosage.
Since different people absorb the gel at...
Hey Vince,
I know you're right. Unfortunately I do have GAD and I'm also very OCD so when I feel like something isn't quite right I can't let it go.
When I post something it's to see if it's normal with some of you guys. If others have had similar experiences it's much easier for me to just...
Hi IPI,
You haven't been taking it very long. I imagine your normal system will restart when you quit. If it doesn't there is a sticky thread on how to get it started again.
As far as all your pains go. How active have you been in the past? If you are not very active in my experience this...
