64 y/o.
I had been trialing enc since July of last year and for the same reasons you state. TRT is also not off the table if I don't see consistent optimization not only in blood work, but in subjective observation.
I started at 12.5mg and soon increased to 25mg because I wasn't seeing any...
How old are you? 64 y/o here.
No one knows trigger finger better than me at this point. I have had TF surgery on 7 digits to date. I thought I was amongst the minority of men who get this since it mainly affects older women. I haven't known too many lifters who've complained of it, but perhaps...
It's up to you. I just posted my personal results and not everyone will have the same result. But if you're asking me, I would err on the side of caution no matter and avoid the oral forms and get them from food or injections. The bioavailability is so poor with oral anyway which is in addition...
To cut to the quick: Only when I completely eliminated all exogenous oral supplementation of both choline and carnitine and started using injectable forms of both in the last 45 days did my TMAO levels finally normalize. Even cutting back on oral form did little to change my levels. Not only...
The part I cannot understand is how can my CK levels be slightly elevated, but my CK isozenymes are all within range, or in the case of CK-MM which is specific to muscle damage, was low. In other words, if I had muscle injury, my CK-MM would be elevated. My concern now is with doing large...
Thanks, Nelson. Yes, I train 4-5 day/s week, but never had an increase before. I also do carnitine and other nutrient injections and am thinking IM injections may cause a rise as well.
Follow up testing with the following interpretation:
Presence of atypical electrophoretic band consistent with macro - CK Type I, 8 % of total CK.
Anybody have a clue what the heck this means?
The best dairy to consume is raw, unpasteurized, full fat, cultured (i.e. yogurt, kefir) and preferably from a non-bovine (non-cow) source (goat, sheep). I get all my dairy from this Amish farm in PA: Raw Milk, Organic & Grassfed Beef | Pasture Raised - HARMONY ACRES
Those more familiar with CK.
Results below.
Liver and kidney markers all within range.
How can totals CK be elevated if the CK enzymes are within range?
Perhaps a high protein diet and dehydration from fasting for the test can cause elevated total but normal enzymes? If it was from heavy...
Friend of mine on 200mg/week test cyp (50mg eod subq) + nandrolone 50mg/week. Age: 55.
Cannot understand why his iron/ferritin and CBC markers are drastically off, but suspect it has to do with his HRT. He is negative for any internal bleeding and claims to be asymptomatic Also, his PSA...
Even with as much celebrity and wealth one accumulates during a successful career, one isn't immune to becoming yet another victim of poor lifestyle and dietary choices, PED and other drug abuse and substandard medical management. Plaque burden can be easily tracked and treated given the right...
An abdominal ultrasound showed an incidental finding of gallbladder sludge and trace gallstones.
Followed up with a HIDA scan done with ejection fraction. EF was only 25%. Normal is 35% and above. Diagnosis: biliary dyskinesia which means not enough bile is able to exit the gallbladder and...
Off to get an appointment with my hematologist stat and get a bilateral venous ultrasound ordered to check for any non-occulsive DVTs which is mentioned in that paper you sent and what I had before.
Oh well, too late on the cardio workouts. I feel fine during and after. I forgot to mention that I'm already on anticoagulant therapy (Xarelto 10mg) since 2014 as prophylaxis. CBC showed slight anemia + low WBCs - likely due tothe C-19 infection according to my doc.
I am trying to makes sense from my latest bloodwork.
My main concern is whether these elevations (see attached) are likely due to the Covid infection I had 30 days prior to the blood draw and not due to my 3 mo.of 25mg/day enclomiphene regimen.
Of note: I had a clot of unknown original form in...
Let me rephrase this so it's in better context. I got excellent response to enclomiphene after raising the dose to 25mg per day. I had a bout of Covid at the beginning of November. I did my labs at the end of November at which point my FSH, LH and T levels had dropped instead on increased...
Update:
I have kept on with the dose of 25mg/day for another 47 days and now my levels have actually dropped when I expected them to be higher:
TT: 647
FT: 69.5
FSH: 6.1
LH: 4.5
As well, E2 decreased to 20 and IGF-1 increased to 323.
Could it be that SERMS like enclomiphene spike initially...
Your 02 desaturation (<90%) is minimal, so it is unlikely any symptoms are caused by OSA. Nonetheless, an oximeter would provide you with immediate, clear-cut monitoring. I use this one every night and it connects via bluetooth to my phone app and desktop software. But I have moderate OSA and am...
I am not obese by any stretch and experienced gastroparesis, gallbladder sludge and now stones due to being on a GLP-1 for a little over a month. This was NOT from any weight loss, mind you. These are known side effects. I expect more users of these GLP-1 meds to have significant gut issues as...
I don't think the floaters have anything to do with Enclomiphene since it is void of the zuclomiphene isomer which is responsible for all the negative side effects associated with Clomid.
UPDATE:
As I previously posted, the first 27 days @ 12.5mg were a dud.
I take my dose first thing in a.m. on empty stomach, water only.
I stayed @ 12.5mg for another 12 days then increased to 25mg for 39 days at which time I did a blood draw.
Finally, some movement (see below).
74% increase in...
63. Been lifting 4-5 days/week. Got conflicting advice from different surgeons. One agrees with you, the other said if it ain't broke don't fix it. I am going for a 3rd opinion soon.
I have zero symptoms, wouldn't even know they exist if it weren't for incidental finding on a CT scan. Conflicted as to whether to get the repair or not. Would rather avoid it and proceed with my other unrelated procedures.
