I dont experience a sting with Cyp. I have a compound of Cypionate 80% and Porpionate 20% called BiTest. Apparently this provides the better halves of both compounds relative to half life and a very smooth ,even protocol. Recently my insur co does not cover enanthate, only cypionate.

The farther along you go this route you will feel more confident about self injecting. I prefer the 30 or 31g, takes all of 20 secs to load.

I inject into quads alternating the same as you, I use a 30 or31g half inch. Easy, peasy Take all of20 secs to load, and yeah I do believe the needle does dull upon initial fill, bit still it's a small needle. I've gotten so used to it, I don't even feel the initial stab.
