Are You Tired Even With Normal Testosterone? Adrenal Dysfunction

My 8am cortisol is 10. It's in the normal range but in the low side. Should this be tested further?

TRT induced anxiety and panic attacks can be caused by Monoamine Oxidase A gene.

Right, it reads "not analyzed" or tested or whatever. Pretty lame.

    Brad Schoenfeld - Resistance Training

I need this. My DOMS is excessive and recovery prolonged with good test levels and nutrition.

TRT induced anxiety and panic attacks can be caused by Monoamine Oxidase A gene.

Interesting thread. Subbed. I have comt mutations, but 23andme didn't test for Mao mutations...unsure why.

For those on Telmisartan/ARBs - Potassium?

Do you monitor your potassium intake, or blood levels? I see that we're not supposed to supplement with potassium while on these, but what's the difference batten using a couple hundred mg potassium in a supplement vs drinking a glass of OJ, or a few tbsp of nutritional yeast? Or am I...

Less than 50 mg of T per week

I've found this also. Trying to bump to 8mg daily and in a few days I get this same symptoms he described.
  7. G

Less than 50 mg of T per week

Yeah, it's good. Finally. Total T is only 465, but I'm more concerned with free T and hct. Finally making gains in the gym again.
  8. G

Less than 50 mg of T per week

I'm on 7mg daily, so 49mg per week and free T is 117, on range of 35-155. Doing pretty well with this. Any more and I get anxiety over dumb stuff.

    Flushing/palpitations/blurry vision/pass out

I agree with System Lord...dose is likely too high. I'm doing well on 7mg daily test cyp.
  10. G

    8 Weeks In 7mg Daily

Gotcha. Yeah, I can't explain why my hct is so high on such a small dose. No sleep apnea either.
  11. G

    8 Weeks In 7mg Daily

Both. I do delts, VG and hip fat.
  12. G

    8 Weeks In 7mg Daily

Thanks. I've been on TRT at varying doses for almost 8 years. At that dose, is your free T higher than mine?
  13. G

    8 Weeks In 7mg Daily

Wait, I'm not sure why you said my peak and trough are almost identical. I only posted a rough trough (18 hours after draw, 6 hour before next shot). Sorry to hear 7mg didn't work for you. Low dose daily is pretty easy and hasn't mattered if I miss a dose or 2 once a week.
  14. G

    8 Weeks In 7mg Daily

I'm 8 weeks in to 7mg test cyp, after being on 5mg daily for months (thinking Testosterone was my insomnia and other symptoms cause). I'm pleased with these free test levels. Getting stronger in the gym too. When should I retest to ensure my hgb and hct doesn't keep climbing up...

    Daily SUBQers: 5 stars for BD Ultra-Fine Insulin Syringe - 31G 3/10cc 5/16"

Rarely here too and I'm only injecting 7mg daily. The one from Wednesday got me good though.

Any of you daily subq or shallow IM users get PIP ever?

    Workout Hangover/PEM

I've wondered...if guys are not doing well with daily because there isn't any peaks and dips, then why do guys do well on EOD and twice per week? Does the peak and dip not matter how frequent they are, just the they happen? If that's the case...could alternating 6mg and 8mg daily do any good?
  18. G

    Workout Hangover/PEM

Gotcha. Very bizarre. What's your current protocol?

    Workout Hangover/PEM

What were the side effects from steady hormones?
  20. G

    Workout Hangover/PEM

7mg per day...8 weeks in from increasing from 5mg for months. 10mg daily had me at very top of free T range, and 5mg had me at very bottom of free T range.
  21. G

    Workout Hangover/PEM

Thanks. I get between 150g to 200g of protein per day normal and I weigh 217. Going by the Stronger By Science recommendations of 1.6 to 2.2g per kg, I think I should be ok there, and going above doesn't seem to help in the short term at least. I never caffeine and I agree with you there. I...

This could be part of it. Thanks.

    Workout Hangover/PEM

I've wondered this for myself...the cfs at least.
  24. G

    Workout Hangover/PEM

I hear ya, but we're not talking about anything crazy. For example, this past week deadlift workout was 5/3/1, the 1's week, so I did the amrap and did 4 reps...maybe could've got 5, but that's it...one hard set. Did some inverted row, reverse cable flies and close grip bench... that was it and...

    Workout Hangover/PEM

Does it effect your sleep as well? I think I'm pretty good at not training too hard too often, but it severity definitely correlates with heavy deadlifts and squats
  26. G

    Workout Hangover/PEM

Thanks. It could be that, but a little unlikely given how I workout. I don't hit failure too often, take light every days every so often, took 6 months off last year, only worked out twice per week for several months and only recently went to 4 days per week to do less per workout. But...

    Workout Hangover/PEM

Does anyone else get a hangover from working out the following day? The feeling is an overall bad feeling hard to describe, but similar to that feeling when you haven't slept at all for a few days, and includes some brain fog, memory impairment, irritability, lowered mood, and headache.

After beginning a new protocol and testing in 6 weeks, when should one retest after that? And when to test CBC?

    B12 Injection SubQ

Well, that's why I'm doing both injections and pills now.
  30. G

    B12 Injection SubQ

For me, injections seem to be necessary. Between sublingual and quick dissolve my levels dropped from 500 to 362 over a few months, eating plenty of meat as well.

    B12 Injection SubQ

Yikes... yeah that's higher than my comfort level.
