    SubQ subpar?

On another TRT forum (don't remember which one right now) they had members post T levels doing subq verse IM. The amounts injected and frequency remained constant. Thesr non-scientific postings suggested subq in the abdomen area resulted in lower T levels compared to IM. Subq in the thigh showed...

Therapeutic Phlebotomy...local Quest and Labcorp refuse to do it

I'm un-educated on my question, but why the resistance to Red Cross. I'm just starting out on TRT, so I want to get my options in line if/when I need to donate blood. Thanks.

Jk78 case - from before the starting line

So I am entering my third week of testastorone cypionate, 50mg/injection done twice a week. This morning was my 5th injection overall. I am not currently on hcg or an AI. My sensitive E2 was 9 before beginning treatment. I can't say I feel much different, but I wasn't expecting to notice much...

Getting all the test cyp out of syringe

Much more success today. Drew the .25ml with my 22ga, removed needle, drew plunger back to pull a tad bit of air, put 22ga needle on, got the air bubble to travel to plunger (took a minute or two but nothing drastic) and injected subq in upper front leg. Best injection yet. Felt nothing and...

    Muscle building

That's sums me up right there. Been training 3 years, two of it consistently and hard with compound lifts, and I gain and lose the same 15 pounds of fat every year. Frustrating as can be. Hoping once I get my T up some it changes a little. For a guy my size, my lifting stats suck too. I want...

    High free t

Did you have a time where the symptoms seemed to subside then came back? With a testosterone level of 1098, Nelson may argue your E2 is still low, using his total T / E2 ratio, your at a ratio of 28. He recommends a ratio of 14-20, or an E2 of 55-78 in your case. There are stickies about it...

    High free t

Guys I'm learning here as well. Could this be low SHGB? Also, doesn't his E2 seem low at 14, which could lead to the moodiness, irritability and hot flashes? Am I starting to understand this stuff or have I just hit my head on a brick wall?

    Hello World

Welcome to Excelmale. There are a great bunch of guys here that are always willing and eager to help. I'm sure they'll be curious about your labs with ranges considering your age and T levels.

Getting all the test cyp out of syringe

Thanks guys. Coastwatcher, I did read through that thread. Very informative. I'm probably not losing as much as I think, but any seems like too much. I will try to capture a slight bubble by the plunger and see if that helps.

Getting all the test cyp out of syringe

I started self injections of 50mg test (200mg/ml, so .25ml) 2x a week last week. I am having a slight issue completely emptying the syringe. I load with a 22ga needle (pharmacy didn't have the 18ga in stock) and change the needle to a 29ga 1/2" needle after loaded. I'm doing sub-q injections...

    Anyone "eased" in to TRT

Just wondering if anyone has eased in to a protocol. Here's what I mean. Goal is 50mg testosterone cypionate twice a week. Anyone start at 25mg twice a week as an introduction for two weeks, then go up to the 50mg twice aweek. You know, "Body, meet your new friend Testosterone. Big-T, this is...

    Question on injection days

Someone has to wake the rooster up! That's my "go to the gym and turn the rest of the world off" me time before work. Once I turn disconnect the ear buds, the rat race ensues.

    Question on injection days

Vince, thank you for the feedback. I've watched that video before, but heard conflicting opinions on mixing oil and water bases in the same syringe. To start out I would rather keep them separate to keep the injection volume down and not cause any "mixing" issues.

    Question on injection days

For those that don't know, I am not yet on treatment, just researching and planning. I do hope to start in the next month or so. If I do start injections, early mornings during the week are going to work best for me. I'd like to split the injections to twice a week to prevent the ups and downs...

Jk78 case - from before the starting line

I have been on Defy's and discounted labs website quite a few times. I would really like to work with a local doctor if at all possible. Call me old fashioned. I'm sure I will utilize discount labs at some point, either for all my blood work or for some follow ups along the way. I called and...

Jk78 case - from before the starting line

Nelson, he is one of the two doctors I want to see. With my current insurance though, the first $2,500.00 is going to come out of pocket, so I was wondering if these prices seemed high or in line with the industry, including blood work and meds/supplies. Again, I'm just trying to educate...

Jk78 case - from before the starting line

So I went to a local medical spa clinic yesterday. I brought the two sets of labs with that I posted above. The doctor agreed that I should start treatment. He would not start until further blood tests where taken (good for him) and we went over the costs I could expect. I'd like to get your...

Jk78 case - from before the starting line

Thank you guys. I have read all of those links, as well as looked up Defy Medical in the recent past. I have also looked at the post with the guide to finding a doctor on this site and looked up docs on the a4m website as well. I'm taking a bit of time to educate myself as much as possible. I...

Jk78 case - from before the starting line

I am at the very beginning of this process. I know I have some work to do, but would like to know if I'm heading down the right path. I have felt a steady decline lately, and I would like to stop it. I'm still fairly young and active, have a great wife and family, and would like to improve...
