well, with my first TRT clinic I was on 240mg one IM injection a week. My SHBG was still high. Bi-weekly injections @ 160mg/week didn’t improve my numbers, So I consider the Boron to be the major difference maker.

I managed to cut my SHBG in half over 6 months by taking 9mg Boron Daily and an increase of 40mg of testosterone weekly. great free T increase as well!

I’m coming off using 25 gauge regular needles I have 10 packs of 30 gauge insulin syringes. I’m going to use what I got. I have very thick skin and trying to get the 25 gauge through compared to 30 gauge is night and day difference.

Still had acne when my total t was was like 190 ngdl and it was slightly worse. Needless to say, I don’t believe my acne is at all androgen related.

Honestly, Through research it seems like most of the negative accutane side effects came from people on high doses of the drug and people on low dose have minimal side effects and still get clear skin.

It does kindve look like I have Folliculitis on my chest, like every pore looks clogged, even though I only have actual zits. Salycitic acid removes the clogs visually but a few hours later they’re back.

I’ve tried selsum blue, nizoral, salycitic acid, benzol peroxide, tea tree, and even dawn dish soap... I feel like I’ve tried everything non-prescription.

It’s not really a testosterone side effect for me though. I’ve always had bacne since I was a teen. Lots of people say it’s caused by DHT but, I have minimal body hair, and absolutely no male pattern baldness. Is there anything besides accutane to get rid of it? Defy Medical can’t prescribe it...

That makes sense. I’m going to try using express scripts mail order pharmacy through tricare(military retiree insurance) I was just on the site. I wonder if anyone has had luck getting reimbursement from tricare with a defy medical cms1500.

I love the staff at defy medical. My only complaint is that they don’t write prescriptions and force you into using their compounding pharmacies. I would save a TON of money through prescriptions.
