    For those with high SHBG.

well, with my first TRT clinic I was on 240mg one IM injection a week. My SHBG was still high. Bi-weekly injections @ 160mg/week didn’t improve my numbers, So I consider the Boron to be the major difference maker.

I managed to cut my SHBG in half over 6 months by taking 9mg Boron Daily and an increase of 40mg of testosterone weekly. great free T increase as well!

What’s the general consensus on AI’s here?

You can only lower your test dose so far before you’re not converting enough to DHT for ideal sexual function.

Do all Aromatse Inhibitors affect cholesterol?

on my next labs I’ll be getting the NMR Lipo-Profile to test the cholesterol particle sizes which will give me a better picture of my actual cholesterol health. I’ll continue to eat healthy but be more focused on better carbs and get some more monounsaturated fats in my diet.

What’s the general consensus on AI’s here?

Thanks for sharing that article, was a good read. my e2 between 25-30 is the sweet spot. I would love to try propionate ester someday, but it would cost roughly twice as much for the same dosage. I wish defy could call in the prescription to express scripts like they do empower. However, i...

Arimidex AI and ingrown hair (neck) with electric shaver

I read a study on metformin saying it reduces acne in women with PCOS by lowering their androgens and that testosterone causes thicker skin causing skin to clog pores and follicles more easily. I believe this is the action in which androgens cause acne and estrogen is more responsible for sebum...

If Arimidex (Anastrozole) doesn't work for you, there is still hope: Aromasin

At my last follow-up with Defy I asked about aromasin as an option and the NP said it’s generally too harsh for most people.

What’s the general consensus on AI’s here?

Through my research the biggest concern with AIs in the long term is they do affect your cholesterol. Which is why I assume Dr. Crisler discontinued their use in the end. I’m strongly considering everyday injections if it would mean I don’t need to take an AI. theoretically testosterone prop...

Do all Aromatse Inhibitors affect cholesterol?

I’ve been reading a lot about Aromatse Inhibitors since my last labs. In March my HDL was 36. September 34.... prior to March I was barely working out and had almost no routine in the gym and my diet was horrendous. Since March though I’ve been working out hard, I’ve put on 15 pounds of lean...

    Will heating testosterone degrade it?

I’m coming off using 25 gauge regular needles I have 10 packs of 30 gauge insulin syringes. I’m going to use what I got. I have very thick skin and trying to get the 25 gauge through compared to 30 gauge is night and day difference.

    Will heating testosterone degrade it?

victim? since I have a lifetime commitment to injections I prefer the experience to be as pleasant as possible.

    Will heating testosterone degrade it?

My doctor asked if I wanted to switch to injecting with insulin needles, I tried it and it takes forever to draw from the bottle. I read that you can heat it and draw at least 3x faster. Would this degrade the quality of the testosterone? as always thank you.

    ACNE

Was at 30.8 on my last labs which I know is in normal range. I was on 160mg a week, .25 Arimidex, 100 units hcg weekly split in two doses. I didn’t really think too much about sides as I wasn’t getting an itchy nipple, as I’ve had a tiny hard lump since I was like 13 and it’s itched really bad...

Sunshine definitely helps mine too. I’m on a higher dose of AI right now I’m about week 3 and I’m having a significant reduction on my back.... have a blood test in a week and a half.

    ACNE

Still had acne when my total t was was like 190 ngdl and it was slightly worse. Needless to say, I don’t believe my acne is at all androgen related.

    ACNE

My diet is basic af. I started eliminating normal milk for almond milk though. It’s not the AI, I’ve had acne for 20+ years now.

Trying to schedule an appointment with a dermatologist but, of course my primary care needs to see me first to make some money. Is this folliculitis?

    ACNE

Honestly, Through research it seems like most of the negative accutane side effects came from people on high doses of the drug and people on low dose have minimal side effects and still get clear skin.

    ACNE

It does kindve look like I have Folliculitis on my chest, like every pore looks clogged, even though I only have actual zits. Salycitic acid removes the clogs visually but a few hours later they’re back.

    ACNE

I’ve tried selsum blue, nizoral, salycitic acid, benzol peroxide, tea tree, and even dawn dish soap... I feel like I’ve tried everything non-prescription.

    ACNE

It’s not really a testosterone side effect for me though. I’ve always had bacne since I was a teen. Lots of people say it’s caused by DHT but, I have minimal body hair, and absolutely no male pattern baldness. Is there anything besides accutane to get rid of it? Defy Medical can’t prescribe it...

Help choosing a TRT doctor - Defy vs Dr Rotman

That makes sense. I’m going to try using express scripts mail order pharmacy through tricare(military retiree insurance) I was just on the site. I wonder if anyone has had luck getting reimbursement from tricare with a defy medical cms1500.

Help choosing a TRT doctor - Defy vs Dr Rotman

Even for medications they carry? If so that’s a game changer. I’d be able to get test, hcg, and ai for less than 100.00 every 90 days!

Help choosing a TRT doctor - Defy vs Dr Rotman

I love the staff at defy medical. My only complaint is that they don’t write prescriptions and force you into using their compounding pharmacies. I would save a TON of money through prescriptions.

Do I actually need HCG if I’m not worried about nuts shrinking, or fertility? I have a vasectomy.

    Irritability and anxiety on Testosterone

read through the entire post. It was suggested for you to address your DHEA multiple times. Did you ever try it? As someone who was on the same test, hcg, and ai as you when you were bi-weekly and suffers from PTSD I can tell you it made a HUGE difference with my irritability and anxiety. 25mg...

    TRT was going great!

All in all I’ve been in doctor prescribed TRT for over two years now. I’ve been with defy for about a year now, the majority of the last year year has been fantastic since dealing with doctors that really know their shit. I went through a break up this spring and my doctor put me on Zoloft, I...
