Cypionate vs Propionate for daily injections

If a person is going to inject daily in the 15-20 milligram range is Propionate better.? Or is Cypionate the better choice. Anyone done both and determined a clear winner? What about the Cyp/Prop blends? I’ve found that I have a steadier state with daily injections. And yes I know about the half life’s of the different esters.

Switching from cypionate to propionate this week, I’ll let you know my results in 3 weeks. I think cyp hasn’t been the best for me personally even with daily injections. We shall see.

What’s not right for you on cyp? Water weight gain?

That and the insomnia regardless of dose, my shbg is super low so I think that’s why prop has so far been working better.

doing the same. tried cyp/ent/prop blend for 2 weeks now.
i definitely feel a difference. in same boat with very low shbg and stuff.

4:3 cyp/prop, 8mg/day I lost the water, feel good, sleep great. Good daily swing without flash crash. YMMV

My SHBG is low too. I just started T Prop 10mg SQ per day two days ago...

once you switch from cyp to prop it probaby will be 1-2 weeks before the CYP fully clears. but at that point you should be able to make adjustments to the prop and feel the difference pretty quick.

Sweet that’s my exact protocol, what time of day are you injecting and are you adding any supplements or other hormones along with the test prop?

Cool. In the am around 9. I take 300 mg of Alpha GPC in the pm and 50 mg scrotal cream around 9-10 pm.

I inject AM as well but I know some people try nighttime injections. I’m thinking of restarting pregnenolone but I’m looking for a cream form as I recall someone saying on here they did better with pregnenolone cream. Also starting raloxifene to fix puberty gyno and potentially raise my shbg. Vitamins I’m taking are just E and magnesium.

I am in the same boat. How did you do with prop injections? I am currently doing ed cyp injections.

Most of you probably know, I've been on TRT for a little over 9 years now. The whole time I only used testosterone cypionate. Went to daily injections about 7 years ago, higher SHBG and still use cypionate. For me TRT has always been easy. Never felt bad on any protocol I used. I think the reason is because of my age and when I was young. I must have had high testosterone levels so it's easy for me. I just keep my T level high.

Feel my best with 100 TC and 20 TP every 5 days, and 500 IU HCG twice a week. Haven't checked my T levels in years, wouldn't change anything regardless. Post 1 1/2 yr HOLEP PSA 0.32. Phlebos about every 10 weeks, HCT < 52%, all other blood chems and lipids good along with BP. E2 runs 90 - 100, no AI, no Sx. This is me, not a rec. Tried adding in some nandrolone after years off, no positive effects on joints so I dropped it. CYP and ENAN have exactly the same effects on blood conc.

Prop gave me a weird over stimulation feeling. Not quite anxiety but can’t relax. I’ve since learned I struggle with histamine intolerance so I’ve been working on fixing that.

The ester form of T is a prohormone and is inert, in the end what is released after the esterase acts on the ester is testosterone, the active form. The ester simply dictates the rate of release of the active hormone. Prop will give you a shorter duration of action but higher blood concentration or spike after an inj relative to the same dose of cyp or enanthate. Sometimes I think half of what guys/women feel is what they think is going to happen. For example people think they can tell the difference between cyp and enanthate. The blood conc after the same dose of each is the same over time. I'll bet if we did a study that double blinded the shots, most that think they can tell a difference couldn't given the same oil carrier and preservative/conc.
