Does anyone use a sleep tracker?

I’ve had an Oura ring for a few years now and it has taught me much about my sleep patterns. It’s hard to ignore the in your face reality consequences of eating too much, eating too late, over exercising, stress, anxiety, etc. Highly recommended it.

Age 65 HRT full stop and Tamoxifen

There must be plenty of people like me who just stopped the HRT cold Turkey without drug intervention. I mean I had no problem starting it without help 15 years ago LOL. I guess the only thing I’m really concerned with is how sore my testicles might get and for how long. 15 years is a long time...

Age 65 HRT full stop and Tamoxifen

Thanks yes I’ve had much diagnostic work including MRI. Although I certainly did have some vestibular issues early on, I’m well past that side of it now. My issue is a TMJ which went bad and required surgical reconstruction. I had a jaw partially locked up and that sent the masseter muscles into...

Age 65 HRT full stop and Tamoxifen

Thanks yes I’ve had much diagnostic work including MRI. My issue is a TMJ which went bad and required surgical reconstruction. I had a jaw partially locked up and that sent the masseter muscles into a state of chronic tension which really messed up my neck - and thus the Cervicogenic vertigo...

Age 65 HRT full stop and Tamoxifen

It’s not a confidence issue with Defy Medical. It’s just the shock of reading about the drug I’m about to start taking in such a fragile state of health. It skew’s the whole risk reward thing for me and I have only a fraction of the confidence I had after the call. I can’t afford to lose ground...

Age 65 HRT full stop and Tamoxifen

I’m 65 and had my Defy medical consult this afternoon after being on HRT for 15 years. Thought it went well and the Defy practitioner seemed knowledgeable (I’m not all that up on things and am relying heavily of Defy) I’ve been dealing with Cervicogenic Vertigo for 20 months and am not all...

    TRT beyond age 65

I’m 65 and been on TRT for 15 years (30 mgs Tcyp E3D subQ no AI - never body building or lifting). I’ve gotten lazy about regular testing last several years other than watching hematocrit but have felt fine and have just been plugging along. Then I had a jaw joint go bad which really screwed up...

New Research Confirms We Got Cholesterol All Wrong

I’ve been fighting off Statins for several years now. I’m more or less my own advocate on the health front but still a slave to the FAA and my flight surgeon twice a year. I’ve had high total and LDL-C for most of my adult life (62). I was very healthy until I wasn’t and became quite sickly...

    First Bloodwork Post

Thank You Yes it's the monster challenge of trying to figure stuff out in the face of overwhelming subjective possibilities on multiple fronts. That's clearly what I'm faced with. 5% here, 2% there, etc. I guess I strongly believe that it's pretty naive to think that my endocrine system is...

Also, could someone plz refer me to the best file/resource to better educate myself on the TRT/Thyroid connection? Thanks

    First Bloodwork Post

I was hoping to have this be a productive thread and get some real answers moving forward trying to figure stuff out. I'd like to do follow up blood work to fill in the missing blanks from the first round, and check the E2 again now that I've started back on the anastrozole. Nobody commented...

    First Bloodwork Post

Thanks that's very helpful. My doc is a Hashimoto's specialist, herbalist, acupuncturist, and is focused on the functional medicine approach to wellness. I'm in a 6 month treatment program with him working on all fronts. This could/should be an excellent resource for both of us. Anyway, no...

    First Bloodwork Post

Thanks for the reply. I believe the guy I'm working with is plenty open and smart enough to help work through this. So let's not discount him out of the gate. He knows how important this is to me and wants to help me work through it. Could you please take a moment and give me a list of the...
