Wanted to reply with my experience as this thread is very interesting. I’ve been on TRT around 2 years now. I started at 200mg a weekly split dosing. This put me around 1300 in the trough and Free about 37 with a top lab of 21. I felt great at first but started to feel worse and worse...
Everything so far has been going great since getting my dose dialed in for TRT. Turned out everything looks really good at 70mg every 4 days subcutaneous. No need for an AI and no HCT issues.
Only thing that bothers me is my HDL has dropped to 38. My total cholesterol looked really good at...
Absolutely. I was already on lexapro for mild depression and panic which did help. However, the Testosterone over time has unquestionably changed my mental state for the better.
I tended to be an extreme worrier and over thinker which I think drove some of the depression and also the panic...
Hey madman! Thanks for the response and I think you are doing it the smart way. Twice a week was DEFINITELY better for me than once a week. I really don't even notice a decline before my next shot. I even had to set up reminders in my phone and I'm usually surprised it's already time for the...
True. It was partially my fault because I had some friends who recommended that level and my doc said that was the high end but we could start there and see the results.
I found it interesting that it took about 5-6 months to continue building up to the point where I was way over the limit...
I also wanted to note that in addition to the results above my chronic palpitations (benign) have reduced by about 95%. I also experienced an almost total stoppage of my panic disorder.
If those were the only benefits I received I would do it again no question.
Just wanted to share what I experienced through my first year of TRT as I thought some may find it interesting or helpful.
I started with an initial total test that hovered between 250 and 350 from my early 20s to 40 when I decided to start.
I started with 200mg a week from my doctor...
Just got back from my appt and doc said the same thing. 65 is not of concern to him. Strangely I continue to have to lower my dose to stay in an acceptable range.
With 80mg every 4 days I was 1200 in the trough.
I found this interesting:

From what I have read high protein as well as heavy lifting raises both AST and ALT. There is supposedly another test I think GGT? That supposedly will show normal if the increase is due to diet and training but abnormal if hepatitis or something else is to blame.
Just curious if any of you have gotten elevated ALT levels from TRT. I've been told high protein diets and hard weight training can cause it as well. I'm trying to figure out a cause.
Mine came back as normal AST but ALT was 65 and normal is 45 I believe in the test I took.
Everything...
Thanks! Honestly I give the credit to this site and all of you that helped with my fears and questions. My doctor basically agreed to try it my way and that was based on the info I received here.
He is even talking about swapping other patients to smaller more frequent injections based on...
