HCT and blood donation

Decided to go ahead and give blood because my hematocrit level was 49.7 when I had my blood drawn last. I'm about 5.5 months into TRT. How much could I expect that to drop with a whole blood donation? I want to say I have seen that it's typically a 3ish point drop. Sound right?

Imo your hct was still good. I do not recommend you do blood donation to reduce your hct. Did you have any symptoms possibly related to hct?

Yes about 3%

No symptoms. Im a universal donor so, figured im doing a good deed and maybe helping myself a little bit too?
Bloodletting tends to correlate with longer life and there are some fairly exotic theories as to why. One of the simpler benefits is that it reduces the chances of Iron overload which is something you certainly don't want.
