What could cause decreasing TT on increasing T doses?

I've had an issue for the last couple of months now where my TT has not been nearly as high as it used to be given a particular dose of T cyp.

Early Feb I saw a 600 off 150mg/week.
Last week, 730 off of 182mg/week + 150IU HCG EOD.

Last fall, I was at 1200 with 200mg/week.

Where the hell could it be going to?

Also noticed my SHBG is going down - down to about 19 from ~30

150 iu of HCG only mildly elevates testosterone, if at all, for 8 hrs. You need a minimum dose of 250 iu for the effects to last 72 hrs.

I don‘t understand the issue. At:
150 mg per week = 600
182 mg per week = 730
200 mg per week = 1200

Plus your SHBG is coming down which many men find after several months / a year on TRT. If you’re injecting once per week and your SHBG has fallen, your body doesnt have it bound up, and is processed / eliminated from the body.

Ah that makes more sense if my SHBG is still coming down.

And sorry, to clarify more, in September last year (3 months into TRT) I was on 150mg and TT was at 720 or so. Maybe I wasn't completely shut down?

Now that you mention it, I remember about HCG lasting much longer at 250IU+. I'm a little hesitant to try that over more T...have to think that one over.

Also, my E2 was at 20 this time around, which I suspect is from taking too much Cialis. Gonna tell the girl I need to take a break from that for a couple of weeks and see if I feel better when that comes up a bit.

hCG is quite tricky. I can only use it once per week at 250 iu. I usually don’t need an AI, but even only once per week of HCG I sometimes need to take .5 mg AI. Twice per week, and I definitely would have to.

If I use only 150 iu a few times per week my nuts don‘t rebound at all. I only use HCG for vanity reasons really.

Almost sounds like 250IU twice a week might make more sense for me then.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
