Very interesting this is the first I’ve heard of this. Going to look into more…. Wellbutrin also made my motivation go through the roof. I’ve been diagnosed with inattentive ADHD which is why I started going down all these roads. Interestingly this onset wasn’t until my later years when I started TRT
Have u ever looked into selegiline to boost dopamine, instead of Wellbutrin?

I have read about it but was never able to get someone to write me a script for that or modafinil. I am currently on adderall for my ADHD but I’ve observed that it doesn’t impact my dopamine levels in the same way as the other medications mentioned. It does help with focus though

adderall messed me up. Pensive, dark, it was weird.

This guy is pretty insightful as he discusses balances the effects of dopamine with serotonin. You can find similar information in the literature.

I've started 100iu eod and so far I feel pretty good. I adverse effects and things seem to be hanging better and fuller. Thanks for sharing your experience. I hope it continues to have a positive effect for me
How long did it take to notice benefits? And are those still continuing?

Going to add another piece of anecdotal evidence here - I’ve noticed when taking things that boost dopamine that no matter how cold my bits are that doesn’t affect the hanging, even with a cold shower. It’s almost as if under normal circumstances the cold does something to suppress dopamine to the point of causing severe shrinkage but these dopamine agonists override that. I’m convinced that controlling dopamine is a major component in all of this; if I could control not being an asshole when on it I would be taking Wellbutrin full time. It’s one of these things that I know it’s going to turn me into one but when something gets under my skin I simply cannot control what I say about it whatsoever and the filters are completely removed. If I was single I would do it because of the improvement in sex too but being in a relationship the aggressiveness is just not good.
Respectfully, I think it is the vasoconstriction of the cold not the dopamine. Because in fact cold, showers and temperatures raise dopamine.

I'd suggest trying proviron with trt and maybe doxazosin 1-2mg.

Piss poor advice.

He is only 1.5 weeks in!

Your killing me here.

I used to take cialis daily but I don't recommend that to anyone anymore as you develop tolerance over years and it literally stops doing anything despite research saying otherwise.

Bulls**t!

I would put the blame on aging/underlying vascular issues if you are or eventually become a poor responder.

Eventually, most that do not do well on PDE5i will need to use intracavernosal injections such as Trimix to overcome this!

In severe cases of ED, where they do not respond to such therapies the next move would most likely be a penile implant.
Has anyone heard of TriMix. It is an injection of alprostadil, a prostaglandin the prostate makes to get the cavernosa to hold blood and get a firm erection. It is dose-related for effect and duration is influenced by adding varying amounts of papaverine and/or phentolamine to it. As it is synthetic of a natural substance, it works in about 10 minutes and can last from 30 minutes to over 2 hours depending on innate vascular ability of the penis and the dose.
Implants are very pricey, about 20 thousand. Insurance will occasionally pay but not often. It's surgery. When it breaks down its replacment of the entire unit- no patch-ups.
I am not a fan but also know many who are happy with them. And, I have seen patients with the fourth one in place, and out of about 80 thousand and the fourth one does not work. It destroys the cavernous tissue so no going back to any other method.
Look before you leap. Try trimix before implant.
Reference: 10 years doing men's health and using trimix personally for 7 years successfully.
Aside-- some research says up to 4 of l0 men will not respond to cialis when starting use. All 5PDE meds allow nitrous oxide to build up and create the dilation effect. It is a passive filling with your prostate's alprostadil blocking the outflow of blood to firm the erection. For medical use 1000 or 1500mg of L-arginine and 600-750mg of citrulline daily will create the dilation effect. If your prostate is healthy, these two will enhance your erection also. Generally, the amino acids will mimic exercise and dilate the vessels all over the body. The arterial walls create NO when we exercise to the point of sweating. end

Best sources for nitrates other than beet/nitrate capsules?

Keep in mind as stated in the video, it's not nitrates that are needed if the endothelial cells can't use them to make nitric oxide. You need to keep the endothelium (a rather complex structure) healthy or restore it to health.

8:00 interesting regarding potential pathologic effects of arginine, citrulline.

In the next part they talk about the products on the table, and indeed talk about taking in nitrates when your body is not good at producing NO. Yeah makes sense about the arginine, citrulline and also pde5 inhibitors.

Nathan Bryan was one of the people behind Superbeets. Other products designed to support and restore the endothelium are Arteriosil HP, Vascanox (both Calroy Health Sciences) and the flavonoid fractions containing sweet orange extract peel, diosmin and Hesperidin. I have no financial interest in those products but do take them. Do they work? Yes, kind of, maybe, Hell I don't know! Like most supplements we can't go back and not take them for a lifetime comparison.
