Whey isolate, casein, 4% cottage cheese...Insulin response?

Interesting that you mention casein. I don't believe there is any relationship to insulin but here is a very interesting video on casein. This shows proof that milk is not beneficial to humans along with some other very interesting tidbits. It's a long video but the presenter Professor Walter Veith is very good along with documented research.

When I supplemented with whey protein for 3 months it took my A1C from 5. 2 to 5. 7 and my fasting glucose from 86 to 107. So as you can guess I stop supplementing with whey protein.

Very interesting...........I have been feeling like I am starting to get lactose intolerant.

Not all whey isolate is the same. Lactose upsets my stomach. Even though it says isolate, it can still have lactose in it, which I believe is a sugar. I have found that this product.
Isopure Zero Carb Protein Powder, 100% Whey Protein Isolate, (unflavored)
It does not have lactose (and zero sugar) and causes me no problems. Other whey products do cause issues for me.
