Testosterone Basics & Questions
What should I tell my primary care doctor about testing my thyroid? He only did TSH/reflex free T4.
Your doctor is just behind the times, sure steroid users will use HCG when they cycle off. He doesn't know the difference between steroids and TRT, the concepts are similar and that you inject testosterone, the effect of fertility is the same. It doesn't matter if you're injecting 100mg or 500mg, you will still need HCG to remain fertile. If he knew everything and was a knowledgeable doctor you wouldn't have to suggest anything to him, he wouldn't leave any doubt in your mind that he doesn't know what he's doing. The doubt was already there and that's why you're here.
