VERY high free Testosterone

Hey Guys.
My Problem is:


Free Testosteron is through the roof its:
33,20 pg/ml (normal range is 2,60-9,79)


SHBG is very low:
28,5 (normal range is 13,3-89,5)


Estradiol is high as well:
67,9pg/ml (normal range is <39,8)


Total T is good:
9,85ng/ml (normal range is 3,3-11,0)


I dont feel as energized as I used to. I am often tired and I dont know why.
No bloating, moodswings or erectile problems from the high E.
Is such a high Free Testosteron level unhealthy ?
If you need any other blood levels let me know. Did quite a few.

ps: routine is 80mg enantat every 3 days.

Your SHBG of 28.5...please confirm as that is not "low" by any means. Low would be 15 or less. Give or take. But no Free T isn't a bad thing in my book. You'r free T being that high is indicative of Low SHBG thats why I'd like you to verify what you posted.

Your dose of 160 mg per week of testosterone is decreasing your SHBG and increasing your free T. That is what higher doses do.

Anabolic steroids and TRT decrease SHBG, DHEA, pregnenolone and progesterone in men.


High free T is not bad as long as you keep these parameters (only registered members can open attached files):

Regarding the spreadsheet.
I keep T around 800-900
Free T is super high, see above (dont know how to change that)
Hematocrit is at 49 so right at the border (I do phlebotomy every 3 months)
PSA is fine
Estradiol is high with 67,9pg/ml (normal range is <39,8). I tried Grape Seed extract and zinc. It didnt change anything. I dont know if I should take an AI like Aromasin and at what dose... I dont want to crush my E just bring it down a bit...
Blood pressure is normally 125/65. So all good.
Last time I checked the Kidney and Liver they were very good.. been 2 years.
TSH is elevated with 5,78 (normal range is 0,30-4,20) I just started taking Thyroxin 25 (doc said to up it after 2 weeks to 50mg).
T3 and T4 are in the normal range
Ferritin and Iron are fine as well.
HDL and LDL are good as well.
Prolactin. Havent checked that for a while last time it was fine (2years ago)

Where do you live? I ask because that offers some insight into which estradiol test was used to determine your value. Do you know if it was the sensitive, LC, MS/MS, test?

Ok really twice per week thats not to high?
Thx ill have to read a bit more about side effects of AIs then i might go with this protocol.

I live in Germany.. I got tested three times in the last 1/2 year.. always 60-70 pg/ml . Dont know what test they use its 18-20 Euros. I guess no sensitive test then.

I presumed by your post you were not in the States. What they (can) mean for your Estradiol tests is that they are designed for women, and not the low levels that men have. this often can mean the the tests you have are OVER estimating the Estradiol you have. The "sensitive" test that we use in the states is for me and is often LOWER than your tests.
I would revise and say take .25mg once per week, or .125mg twice per week if you can get the pills split that small.

@Mike there is no evidence.. but beeing 3-4 times as high then it should be worries me.. thats why I ask here if I should be worried or try to lower it ?

AI's themselves don't have sides...it's that people use too much and the Estrogen goes to low, or not low enough, that's where peoples complaints come from that are mislabeled as sides to the AI.

If you want to lower your Free T by all means cut your dose 10-20mg at each injection and retest.

Your SHBG and E2 levels were very similar to mine about 3 months ago. I switched to an EOD injection schedule (40mg TCyp) to see if that would naturally bring down my E2 without resorting to taking an AI. I'm drawing blood this week to check it out, and see how that worked out for me. If my E2 is still high, I guess I'll have to start on a very low dose of Anastrozole, since I don't want to go to every day injections. You might want to give the EOD schedule a shot.
