Tyrosine diminishing effects on Dopamine, et al..,

I recently discovered Tyrosine (and 5HTP) as a mood elevator of sorts and tried what is a minimal dose of both, 500mg Tyrosine, and 100mg 5HTP. The first time I took those, I felt pretty good, remarkably improved from my usual malaise in the evening. Malaise as in tired, waiting to go to bed, unmotivated, disinterested, that sort of thing.
Taking that I felt motivated, interested, and actually laid down and was thinking I'm not ready to go to bed! Not energized but just more interested, my outlook was brighter, if you will.
However it's been a diminishing return kind of thing the last few days. I started a 10:1 ration of Tyrosine/5-HTP, to twice per day on an empty stomach each time. I've been reading and some folks are using 1-2 up to 3g(!), as part of a pre-workout formula (which is how I discovered it).

I tried Will Brink's coffee which has tyrosine. Pretty good buzz. Creatine and tyrosine did not affect taste at all. I also added a little coconut oil and it made my coffee super tasty.

Glad you enjoyed it! Make sure to add the cocoa which add additional benefits and adds a nice taste without over powering. The emulsion you get with the whisker really makes a difference in overall taste and possibly benefits.
