TRT specialist in Utah

My insurance covers Innermountain Health and I live in South Salt Lake City. I'm looking for a Dr. that is knowledgable and will help me develop a solid protocol. I want to inject at home, especially since I have low SHBG 19 (13-71) and will likely need to inject 3x a week. I also don't want to deal with the nonsense that I've read about so many on here dealing with.

I appreciate any recommendations!

I hate to be negative and all, but the chances are high that you will deal with the nonsense we've all had to deal with if you go through insurance. This is the current situation worldwide, insurance healthcare has ignored TRT for decades do to a false belief TRT causes prostate cancer.

Hormones are still not taught in medical school, doctors don't even gloss over the subject of hormones, nothing has changed. So why would your experience be any different than ours?

There is hope, many of our members are with Defy Medical who offers expert level hormone specialists and offer telemedicine for those living in other states.

I just figured I would ask given there are select few doctors that actually know what they are talking about which would be nice from a cost standpoint since I already pay for insurance. I do under stand that most doctors aren't going to be a resource for me.

I looked at Defy's website. Any idea on cost for Defy?
