TRT issues and concerns

I recently started my TRT journey and unfortunately I am having some major issues.

1: My energy has gone down the toilet ti the extent where I’m exhausted by mid day and can’t keep my eyes open.

2: The injections sites on my legs are swollen with hard lumps and are red, itchy and very sore. I went to injecting in my stomach and got an even larger lump.

Has anyone experienced either of these issues and how did you overcome them. Im
kind of bummed as I was expecting this to be a better experience and see an increase in energy Vs total exhaustion.

Your response to T therapy isn’t normal. The vast majority have a positive response to therapy.

You’ve basically told us nothing, I can only guess about your protocol or how long you spend on each protocol before deciding to tweak it.

You could be having an allergic reaction to the carrier oils, but since I don’t know anything about your protocol, ester type, I’m throwing darts at the wall while blindfolded.

I started TRT with a borderline iron deficiency that progressed quickly, symptoms included fatigue, and exhaustion.

What are your current health problems other than low-T?

Iron status -> iron saturation, ferritin level?

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
