TRT Dose & Expected TT

Just looking for "best guesses" here on this one.

49, 205 lbs, physically fit, & Secondary:
TT in low 300's natural.
TT 550-625 range using Clomid Mono Therapy @ 12.5mg ED + .25mg adex E3D for past 1.5 yr

Switching to TRT...
50mg Test-C E3.5D (100mg per week total) Sub-Q. > What would one guess my TT will be after 5 weeks?

Same question as above but add in HCG 250 iu 2x week (same day as Test shots if it matters) > New TT?

Plan to do labs but just curious what to expect. Thanks in advance

Your SHBG levels are going to be the wildcard in any sort of guess. Low SHBG guys go though Test fast so under that scenario your Total T levels on 100 mg a week would be low - perhaps around the same levels you have now. Higher SHBG would translate into higher levels.

There' can't be a guess, you'll find out in 5 weeks. You're on a minimum dose and it's about more than just, liek SHBG mentioned by ERO. HCG isn't going to impact your TT.

My SHBG has averaged 26 (10-50 ref range) over past 1.5 years while on clomid mono. I had 36 SHBG a few years ago when tested after 3 months natural (TT=312) & did paleo diet same time.

My goal is to get into 800 TT range...is 100mg a week to low? Or hard to say not knowing current SHBG?

Height and weight doesn't matter. I think you're starting to low, I would start with at least 70mg of T and 500iu of HCG every 3 1/2 days. I would never go higher then 500iu of HCG, unless for a restart a course.

Years ago I did HCG mono & E2 shot into the 90's. So I prefer to use just enough HCG to prevent atrophy. That's why I was thinking 250 iu 2x week. I think your right about the 70mg too.

PS What a great forum this is

Yes I really enjoy this forum, if it was me I would start with at least 70mg of T.

Dave - the best I ever felt was when I was taking 100mg per week. As many have said shbg will influence your numbers. I've never taken HCG and have been lucky not to experience any atrophy.

I think it's tough to tell because everyone is so different in the way they metabolize this drug, but a test doc I know claims to have treated 5,000 guys and says that 80% of the time if you increase the Cypionate by 10 milligrams, the total test will raise between 90 and 110 points.
