Trimix for a guy in the UK

Hi guys ,just found this forum, very informative! Here's my problem, I'm 54 and I had PC back when I was 50 and had radiotherapy treatment for it. I've been clear since but about 18 months after the treatment I developed ED over a 1 week period and have had it since then. I've been to the docs and then a uro specialist, I've tried all the oral meds and injection with Caverjet, none of which give me a proper erection. I mentioned Trimix to the healthcare people but they've never even heard of it let alone prescribe it! It's not available in the UK and there isn't such a thing as a compounding pharmacy that you can approach for this med.
Are there any ways to get this med prescribed for me in the States and shipped over here? This problem has already cost me one relationship after 2 1/2 years of trying and failing. Thanks.

An American prescription will not be honoured by a UK pharmacy. No American doctor will prescribe for a patient who is not resident in the US. Customs would intercept the shipment. Are you working only with the NHS, or are you speaking to physicians in the private sector?

Thanks for the reply, I'm just with the NHS but most of the private specialists(in all aspects of medicine) do work for the NHS anyway, so if Trimix was available they would know about it. We are always 10 years behind the States in medical developments, I don't want to wait that long! So, does anyone know of a way around this ? PM me if you'd prefer.

It is my understanding that Trimix is unavailable in the European Union. Diligent attempts by some of our members to purchase it without a prescription have yielded no information. To the latter point, even if available, I would have serious reservations about buying a grey-market version of a compound that I would be injecting into my penis with no supervision. I understand this isn't the news you hoped to receive. You have tried the other medications used for ED? Send a PM if you would like more details.

I have sent you a PM

I'm from uk, and managed to source papa and phentolamine itself, however I find that higher doses of pge1 work better for me

Thanks Nelson, I have contacted by email the couple of compounding pharmacies I could find here in the UK but none have replied yet.
You say the doctors listed are registered with A4M, what is A4M?

Uk doctors are supervised by the GMC, as the ingredients in trimix isn't a licensed drug, you have just as much luck getting pharma heroin for pain

If someone manages to get papaverine/phentolamine sourced from UK, I will eat my hat. Spent the best part of a year looking for that stuff, being a uk guy myself. I was prescribed PGE1 (Viridal ) but you only get 3 a month, and I needed 40mcg for it to work... I thought adding phent/pap would make it work better

However, after a few attempts, 40mcg is more than enough alone now, I think it opened up the blood vessels

MLC, I believe Caverject is also PGE1, I tried increasing amounts of Caverject over a couple of month period through an NHS urologist(you have to wait approx. 2 weeks for each appointment), it only gave me half an erection and ached quite a bit. The uro said that as I hadn't responded to the last dose then I was not likely to respond to a higher dose, she didn't fill me with confidence to be honest. Could you pm where you got hold of pap and phent and how you go about mixing it so that it is sterile and safe to use.? I assume Viridal is just a trade name for PGE1,basically the same as Caverject? Cheers.

OK, I've got a little more info for the UK guys. First ,I had trouble finding a compounding pharmacy over here, the reason being is that they are not called compounding pharmacies over here at all! They are known as Special Unit pharmacies. I contacted a couple of them but as they are linked to the NHS they are unable or can't compound meds for the average patient. However one of them gave me some interesting info which I am following up. Basically they told me to get a private prescription from a UK/EEC medical practitioner and take it to a pharmacy that is licensed to import from the USA, or which deals with with an IDAS licensed company that can import foreign medicine.
I contacted the UK IDAS and was told to get my doctor to contact them about importing Trimix for me and they will look into it. As soon as I get any news I will let you all know.
I also contacted a couple of USA compounding pharmacies, one who said that although they can't send it to me in the UK,they could send it to a friends USA address and he could then send it to me,there was no mention of a prescription. I am looking into the legal aspects of this
