Seems like some of my posts from this thread and others got deleted. Forums been a bit funky last few days. Systemlord, I read your post here that got deleted too. Just found time to respond. In short, I mentioned I felt significantly better last week at about 13-14mg T + 20IU HCG a day but not so much last few days. I asked if it was smart for low SHBG guys trying to get dialed in to start on the lower side of injection protocols with 10mg T + 10IU HCG a day. Then every 1-2 weeks or so, evaluate and if needed, add in 1mg to daily dosage. Stop increasing once the person feels good. Increase HCG only if the kids decrease in size and I can get away with doing so. You said that's not a good way to do it. To stick with the same amount for 6 weeks and then adjust. You brought up a good thread that discusses the half life of T cypionate, which I already read long ago. I'm aware half-life is about 6-8 days, which means it would take the avg person to reach stable levels in 30-40 days (5-6 weeks). However, I remember being told to forget everything I learned about half life by Vince Carter. Because low SHBG overrides half life, so it doesn't apply much to low SHBG guys because we piss it out fast. Although I'm unsure, I assume that infers that low SHBG guys reach stable levels quicker than the average person. So I'm unsure if low SHBG guys need to wait 5-8 weeks to reach stable levels? History and #s: I was on HRT for 1-2 yrs and then got off of it for 1 year. I'm going back on now with a different doctor and this time, I believe forever. Bloodwork from last week right before I restarted injections: Estradiol 16.3 pg/mL (0.1-56) (Unknown if doc ordered the sensitive or regular test, but I know that when I'm not on TRT, my T and E almost always come back low) Total T 200 mcg/dL (300-1150) SHBG 15.8 nmol/L (16.5-55.9) Free Androgen Index 43.7 nmol/L (32.5-123.2) Free T4 0.814 ng/dL (0.65-1.9) Free T3 3.22 pg/mL 2.3-4.2 TSH-GHP 1.35 0.4-4 Total Bilirubin, Cholesterol, and LDL are usually always slightly elevated in tests. Everything else in normal ranges. Numbers last yr while I was on 9.5mg Tcyp + 40IU HCG protocol daily for at least 2 months: Total T 498 ng/dL 264 - 916 01 Free T(Direct) 13.4 pg/mL 8.7 - 25.1 Dihydrotestosterone 32 ng/dL 02 Reference Range: Adult Male: 30 - 85 Hemoglobin A1c Hemoglobin A1c 5.2 % 4.8 - 5.6 01 DHEA-Sulfate 202.6 ug/dL 138.5 - 475.2 01 TSH 1.410 uIU/mL 0.450 - 4.500 01 Prostate-Specific Ag, Serum Prostate Specific Ag, Serum 0.5 ng/mL 0.0 - 4.0 01 Estradiol, Sensitive 27.3 pg/mL 8.0 - 35.0 03 Methodology: LC/MS/MS Sex Horm Binding Glob, Serum 20.2 nmol/L 16.5 - 55.9
