just wanted to say hello to everyone. i am a new member here and can not say how grateful i am that so many people are taking the time to spread all this knowledge about mens health. so i am new to all this and i am hoping to get some guidance from you guys.

anyways, i am 36 years old and a survivor of testicular cancer. its been over 13 yrs since i had lost a testicle and it was a life changing experience especially being such a young man. shortly after being treated i developed libido issues, ED. then the weight gain, lack of motivation. i have had every symptom of low T for years now. i have been checked multiple times and always told my T is in normal range which is frustrating. i was a very athletic man before cancer and feel like my youth was stolen from me. i have been in the 320-450 range for at least 8 years and most recent levels

total T 497 ng/dl ( 250 - 1100 )
free 87 pg/ml ( 35 - 155 )

do you gentleman think it would be worth my time contacting a doctor for TRT ?

Welcome to Excelmale. I'm sorry you had the health challenges you did. You certainly are a candidate for TRT. Anyone who says otherwise is ill-informed. Do you have any additional labs? If you need a doctor referral, we are happy to provide one.

Thanks for the welcome. I would most certainly appreciate a referral. I've been reading for the past week and the amount of information on here is a bit overwhelming LOL. I have not had much luck finding doctors in my area so I was considering contacting defy.
When you say other labs, do you mean from previous years or other tests done ?

Defy Medical and Prime Body are site sponsors (though I'm not a patient of either practice). Call both and ask as many direct questions as you can, they won't dodge. They treat many members of EM.

I was referring to recent tests, both to see results and wondering how deeply your situation has been explored.

Unfortunately I was only tested for total testosterone and free testosterone, those were what I posted. I'm sure my doctor wasn't worried about exploring my situation much at all because I had to ask her if she would check my levels.

You could also start a new thread, asking if anyone one knows a good TRT doctor in your area. I checked out 4 in my areas before I decided to go with Defy Medical.

Welcome to ExcelMale!
As mentioned above, PrimeBody is a site sponsor and I would be happy to discuss that with you if you're considering a specialist.
Feel free to PM me and ask any and all questions you may have!
