Very educational for me. It seems that it would behove one to check around for the lab with the highest reference range before submitting to the Testo blood test? Or would it make any difference if drs are simply going by the magic "300" put out by some endocrinology society? Yesterday, my FNP told me I was not a trt candidate since my total t was at 368, greater than the magic "300", "which is the rule", he said. My free t was 8.83 which he stated was low. I then asked him that if my symptoms were severe, would that change anything? He said, "nope".
