Testosterone plus HCG in subQ injection

Hi,

I read that study on here that says 500IU of HCG every 2 days will maintain fertility while on testosterone.

Has anyone tried to split their Testosterone shots into 3 weekly shots, combined with HCG in one injection and put it in subQ?

I have seen the video where Nelson injects that combination intramuscularly but does that also work in the stomach? https://www.excelmale.com/?s=149-Ho...o-Preserve-Fertility-Libido-and-Testicle-Size

I hate needles and that seems like a better option?

My only concern is that 500IU of HCG three times per week is pretty high dosage and how will that affect estrogen levels?

I am new to this... My doctor has got no experience with using HCG at all, so asked me to do some research on it. He is open to giving it to me. I am 33 and want to maintain fertility.

Very good question. I was wondering when someone was going to finally ask it.

The study you refer to that used 500 IU of HCG every other day plus TRT (gels or injections) was done by Dr Lipshultz and his team at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. It showed that this protocol could preserve good sperm quality in all men in the study.

I have a meeting with that team to ask them to dig up testicular size (self reported) and sex drive data from that cohort since they did not report on those two variables. They also did not report on estradiol blood levels. As we know, HCG can improve testicular atrophy, sex drive and possibly increase estradiol and DHT.

Since I am not interested in maintaining fertility but mostly testicle size and sex drive, I decided to simplify my protocol to two injections a week of a combo of 500 IU HCG plus 50 mg of testosterone cypionate. I would love for people to get sperm quality tests before going and after a few weeks of using this protocol to see what happens to their sperm. I have also informed Dr Lipshultz of a need to study my simplified approach that could better ensure that men adhere to it in the long run.

You can inject subcutaneously. We have data on subcutaneous injections of HCG and T esters and it shows a pretty good absorption and pharmacokinetics.

Have you actually tried my twice per week injection protocol and found it difficult? The tiny 27 gauge syringe really does not hurt much. I have not tried injecting under my skin in the abdominal area but I think it should be even easier to do (I tend to avoid that area since I have had redness in the past).

Here are three videos that show how to inject and reconstitute HCG:

Please print the contents of this link to give it to your doctor (or email it to him/her)

The link that Okian provided above explains another approach used by Dr Crisler that seems to work anecdotally for some men. Unfortunately, we have no data on it.

Thanks for that! I have send that link to my doctor.

No, I have not started any TRT yet.

I am just doing my research so I feel informed when I see my doctor next week.

I might see if I can get my sperm checked before I start, but probably costs a lot here... So will have to weigh that up.

I will definitely try to combined the two in one injection into the stomach, 3 times per week as that seems the easiest way to inject for someone who does not like needles.

Thanks again for the detailed reply.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
