Taking too much iron?

I crashed my ferritin badly.. I gave blood too frequently and it was at 1. I felt like crap, all of the low ferritin symptoms. Doc told me to stop donating, and get on 350MG Iron + Vitamin C. I went out and got tons of iron supps. The first and second day... I felt amazing. Tons of energy, tons of dopamine, just perfect.

The first day I probably consumed about 350MG of Iron + Vitamin C, now I am consuming less, about 130MG + Vitamin C. Well, exactly 130MG + Vitamin C, and I do not feel as good.

I am worried that I was taking too much iron, my stools now are completely black. Taking 130MG a day, I feel like I did before I started taking iron. Shortness of breath going up the stairs, mind fog, I can feel no dopamine lol.

Should I keep taking 350MG + vitamin C a day for a couple of months to replenish my ferritin? I did feel great, but I'm just worried I would be overdoing it.

Has anyone been in this boat?

Thanks in advance
