T3, T4 and SHBG

I read that thyroid meds can increase SHBG.

Questions:

1. I have not found definitive info if it is the T4 in the meds or the T3 or both that cause this effect?

2. Is there any info on dose-response of Thryoid on SHBG?

I'm being treated for hypogonadism (Cypionate 200mg/weekly + Anastrazole). My SHBG is 31. I used to be on thyroid and think I need to go back on it and am wondering how my SHBG would be expected to react.

Thanks!

They're not related that I know of. There's too much doom and gloom around low SHBG that just isn't supported in the real world. You'll have to do whatever with T4 and/or T3 and just see what happens but there is one solid fact about SHBG...it is what it is and you play it where it lies. If you could manipulate it for whatever reason then people would be doing it. (hint: they're not)
