Sub Q Test

Hi everyone. So my doctor put me on .3ML (200mg/mL) twice weekly sub q, 1 MG anastrozole twice weekly, and hcg twice weekly. When should I start noticing a difference? I woke up last night at 4 am ready to lift some weights or run some laps. It was weird. Have you guys had luck with sub q test cypionate?

Also what days should I inject? Monday and Thursdays?

Thanks

You're just initiating TRT? What were your lab values? That's a significant dose of anastrozole, two milligrams a week. I hope your estradiol was measured with the sensitive (LC, MS/MS) test. Since testosterone doses are expressed in milligrams, mL is a volume not a dose, am I right that you're taking 60mg twice a week? If so, that's a reasonable starting protocol. Simply inject every 3.5 days - always test just prior to an injection.

That dose of anastrozole is insane. Your estradiol level is not even above range and your doc prescribes 2 mg a week? Better TRT docs start guys on Test cyp and HCG twice weekly and only add an AI if after 6 weeks they show high E2 on the sensitive assay. Twice weekly would be Monday AM and Thursday PM as one example.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
