TESTS RESULT UNITS REFERENCE

Testosterone, Total 747 ng/dL 264 - 916

Testosterone, Free 33.47 ng/dL 5.00 - 21.00 (Equilibrium Ultrafiltration)

% Free Testosterone 4.48 % 1.50 - 4.20

Prolactin 48.9 ng/mL 4.0 - 15.2

Estradiol, Sensitive 15.8 pg/mL 8 - 35 (LC/MS/MS)

My treatment protocol is as follows:
70 mg testosterone cypionate IM twice weekly
500 IU hCG IM twice weekly
0.1 mg compounded anastrozole capsule daily

I have a long history of elevated prolactin dating back to 2010. Also, since 2010, my libido has been non-existent (0 on a scale of 1 to 10), in addition to organic ED. Last year, I consulted with a world-renowned penile implant surgeon who diagnosed me with severe organic ED – fibrosis, scarring, venous leakage, and blood vessel disease – which resulted in diminished blood flow. I underwent penile implant surgery at the end of 2019. However, the lack of libido is still a significant problem.

MRIs of the brain were negative. I have not been able to find a doctor (including my anti-aging doctor) who is willing to prescribe cabergoline. The anti-aging doctors and clinics I consulted were not willing to treat just the elevated prolactin. They wanted to take over my entire TRT treatment. I live near Detroit and I am looking for a doctor that can treat the elevated prolactin.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
