Rosuvastatin minimal dosage

I was reading some studies about 2.5mg rosuvastatin daily also being effective in controlling cholesterol. What do you think ?

Rosuvastatin has a pretty long half life, there is some evidence that it can be taken weekly and still see the cholesterol lowering benefits.
