Recent NMR lipoprofile results!!!!should I be concerned

Does TRT alter Lipoprofile? My Primary does NOT prescribe my TRT. But says I need to be on Atorvastatin. According to a recent Heart cath my arteries look good, what gives?

TRT can decrease HDL at doses higher than 150 mg per week. It does not have an effect on LDL and may have a lowering effect on triglycerides.

I would not freak out too much since your NMR profile is not horrible. It is actually a little off except for the low HDL.

I would try 500 mg niacin plus 600 mg NAC twice per day with food, exercise more and potentially decrease TRT dose if it is over 150 mg/week.
