Hello good people need your advice slight long read
I have struggled with TRT trying to get control on my estrogen and other markers and failed/got frustrated, had ED and dropped TRT and I thought i will recover recover after 1 year. Within this time i did much more education
Quick BG: 38yrs, very active lifestyle, 5"7, did steroid cycle in early 30s. Fairly lean except abdomen. U can see veins on my shoulder and traps but have love handles and tummy.
Current situation on no TRT for 1 yr: I can't complain that i have very pressing immediate symptoms but Compared to when i was in 20s Quality of erections is not there. recovery from gym takes time, I try to avoid social gatherings though when i am there I am fine but to just go is a hassle. Tired, i am fine at work but can do with extra energy. I realize this is natural process of aging but I am looking for
1. Prevention from now
2. increasing quality of life instead of waiting till I feel miserable.
During education i realized from articles/videos on Low dose trt, HCG and no AI (always had issues with this/estro control)
My current Blood work after 1 yr off (this is from a local lab (outside usa) which has a different test range) - my previous was from orlando but don't have access to that lab now. I will be in August this year when i travel back
Test total: 278ng/dl, (range 168 - 781) converted ng/ml to ng/dl
LH: 4.2 mIU/ml (0.7-12 range)
FSH: 2.3 mIU/ml (1-14 range)
GH: 0.11 ng/ml (0-8 range)
PSA: 0.8 mg/ml
Estradiol: 18 pg/ml (11-40) non sensitive - lab did not have sensitive
SHBG 2.7 nmol/L
Progesterone: 2 ng/dl (1 - 2)
prolactin: 7ng/ml (3.5 - 20)
Total cholesterol: 161 mg/dl
Tri: 100 mg/dl
LDL:98 mg/dl
HDL: 38 mg dl
AST: 22
ALT: 63
ALK phosphate: 84
Albumin: 3.7
1. Are my markers of some one that can go on trt based only on numbers? Keeping the "how i feel" aspect out
2. I am planning 20mg testE E3D (50mg weekly) with 250iu HCG twice a week together with Test. Want to try to do the lowest dose that will get me from my symptoms i describe above and increase quality of life/health in long term. i have done many cycles and i dont want to do super human levels to feel like a superman for a few weeks before every marker is out of whack and i feel crap.
3. Once i start I will have another blood test around 2 months and go from there.
After all the videos and articles (Dr.Gordon, Dr. Crisler) I want to go up from low dose rather than down from High dose.
Other comments, suggestions, Opinion?
Many thanks
