I don't believe the protocol is to blame. I'm with Defy since this summer and trust that their giving me good advice. I'm currently taking about 164 mg of Testosterone Cypionate split into two doses per week and 500 iu's of HCG 3x per week. I take two 0.125 mg of an AI per week as well. I started at 180mg per week when I was with an endo, but then dropped to 100mg at the beginning of the summer. I went through all the emotions of dropping that fast, but then leveled out. Since August I've been working with Defy and they had me at 140mg then 164mg in an attempt to get my Free T in the ideal range. My SHGB is like 23 and E2 is either too high or too low. It's very hard to balance. This non existent libido has predated TRT and the anxiety predated the non existent libido. I've always had a low grade general anxiety since I was a child. Nothing like panic attacks or phobias, but an anxiety that lingers in my day to day life. Anxiety is a libido killer so that's why I believe the antidepressant is actually helping me, rather than hurting my libido. I'm a lot more relaxed now, my performance anxiety is the main issue I suffer with. I've been on TRT for close to a year now, but have never regained my libido. I'm still holding out hope that the TRT plus antidepressant will give me that sexual vigor I lack, but the clock is ticking and baby making needs to happen. I'm 43 and my wife is 37 so we're still trying for that one more. I'm going to see if I can get a sperm analysis done to see if this HCG has been helping at all in keeping my fertility. I started out the year doing HCG monotherapy, but got knocked off with my insurance, then started TRT. To be honest, my endo could not tell me whether or not I was primary or secondary. My TT and FT did not budge while on HCG Mono, but she could not definitely tell me that I was primary.
