Question about HTPA and Birth Control in Women

I'm not an expert on the female hormonal cycle, but I do know that when women take birth control, it causes a shut down in LH/FSH much in the same way as exogenous male hormones have the same effect in men. I know that birth control causes a lot of women to feel "off." Could this be for the same reason that some men feel off when taking testosterone only without concurrent HCG? Could concurrent HCG use potentially be of benefit to women taking birth control for overall well-being?

Not everyone on TRT likes or need HCG, I'm one that uses 500iu every 3 1/2 days. I like having full testicles but I make very little semen now.
