Optimal time to take a blood test

Hello, I will be starting HRT again and wish to know the best time to have a follow up blood test. I want to know how soon or after a shot is best.

I will either take two shots per week Mon/Thurs...or three shots per week Mon/Wed/Fri.

Many thanks

Once you've begin TRT, the typical time to test levels is immediately prior to an injection. You want to capture trough readings so that you and your doctor can determine how efficiently your protocol is sustaining therapeutic serum levels across the week.

In my opinion, the day you select should be consistent for future lab work as well. I always plan on Monday mornings before injection and its easier for me to fast Sunday night to Monday morning.

That's the same reason I like to do Labs on Monday morning.
