Normal Testosterone Levels but High Estradiol

Hi all
I just go back my lab results from Quest Diagnostics. My Testosterone levels are within normal range, but Estradiol is high.

I currently inject twice a week, total of 60mg/wk of Cypionate.

I have been going to the GYM 5 days a week mostly lifting weights with 15 minutes of cardio to warm up before hitting the weights.

My diet has changed sadly, I have been eating a lot of junk recently, such as chips and chocolate. My current body weight is 212Lbs.

Why do you think my E2 is high? Anything I can do to bring it down naturally without AI?

It's kind of difficult to critic this E2 result without any context, you mention no symptoms at all.

If you are planning on treating a number on a piece of paper in the absence of symptoms, my advice is don't.
Thanks for the response. I'm feeling tired, anxiety, and low sex drive.

When are you drawing labs in relation to your injections?

Also how long have you been on this protocol?
I missed my injection on Tuesday night at 10PM so I injected Wednesday morning instead at 10AM and the draw was on Saturday morning at 8AM. My second injection was on Saturday at 10AM.

I have been on this protocol since June 2021.
I do agree with what you said, I need to clean up my diet and lose more weight.

So these are trough levels and you tested when at your lowest which is ideal. Your peak and midpoint levels are higher. So your E2 could be higher at peak and mid-point.

I think if you lowred your dose to lower the E2 levels, you would sacrifice optimal Free T and then it might not be as easy to lose weight since you need optimal T to achieve maximum weight loss potential.

So definitely fix your diet and get in the gym.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
