New labs. Lost. Need advice.

I've been doing 150mg Cypionate per week (75mg x2 per week), and 1,000iu HCG per week (500iu x2 per week) for roughly 8 weeks. Before this I only did 100mg Cypionate so that's the only thing that has changed.

I have been having worsening ED issues. Here are my lab results from a few days ago on the above protocol. Labcorp reference ranges included:

Total testosterone: 753 (264-916)
Free testosterone: 14.5 (6.8-21.5)
Estradiol sensitive: 17.8 (8.0-35.0)
SHBG: 40.7 (16.5-55.9)

One thing is for sure. E2 is 100% the problem when it comes to ED and libido issues while on TRT.

Based on nothing more than this information, what should I do/change?

I would say your Free T is too low. I believe most practitioners prefer to keep it closer to the top of range unless you feel really good with it lower. In short you need to increase the amount of testosterone you take. Your E2 lab is not high... you didn't say if your taking an AI?

That E2 is most cases would be consider on the low side, need a dose bump to ~160/170 to get your Free T to come up and with that E should come up, too. As the others...need to know if you're using an AI.

Hi Frank, I have only been playing with TRT for about 18 months and I have had ED and libido issues for the last ten years I am 64.
What I have found is TRT did nothing for my ED and everything for my libido once I hit the correct lvl. To much and you are a drooling 18 year old to little and no libido.
The fixes I found for my ED was a modified Gene's NO stack, cleaning up my diet(no sugar high protein) to losing 25# and exersizing daily. I go to a gym 4 days a week and mtn bike 3 days.

If you are getting it up but having issues keeping it up a simple ****ring works great.

hth
this forums dirty word list is so funny. Since I can't say ****ring lets call it a the other name for a rooster-ring. Mods- you really should fix the dirty word list on this forum.

Thanks everyone. No AI.
I'm just really surprised at 150mg Cypionate per week that my testoterone is so low. It was MUCH higher for a long time when I was only doing 100mg per week. And yes, e2 definitely too low and definitely what my problems are. I'm going to give it a few weeks and get more labs. If no change then I'll try going higher.

Understanding Your Hormones

Estradiol (E2)

A form of estrogen produced from testosterone. Important for bone health, mood, and libido. Too high can cause side effects; too low can affect well-being.

DHT

Dihydrotestosterone is a potent androgen derived from testosterone. Affects hair growth, prostate health, and masculinization effects.

Free Testosterone

The biologically active form of testosterone not bound to proteins. Directly available for cellular uptake and biological effects.
