I am curious to see if they put guys on an up-to-date protocol, or the more typical "one T shot every 2 weeks, no HCG, no E2 testing, etc." in this study.

Same. I've never seen a more reasonable protocol than once weekly.

Also consider most are placebo controlled so you'll get a GnRH agonist to suppress you without any exogenous testosterone.

I don't think there's a price you could pay me to do that. I'd rather sign up for water board testing.
