Low Estrogen

Not taking any AI of any kind and have had low estrogen. Take a low 60mg t cyp weekly in 30mg 2x a week currently.

Is upping the T dose to 100+ the solution? No doctors in my area have much experience in TRT.

It's as if you have little aromatase enzymes to convert testosterone into estrogen. Your Total T and Free T look excellent for a low SHBG guy. Low SHBG guys can get away with lower estrogen do to the abundance of free hormones common among low SHBG guys.

Still estrogen is low and needs to be increased.

Are you taking any supplements or medications?

Personally I supplement with 10 mg of pregnenolone and 25 mg of DHEA, I take it before bed and it does help me sleep. Have you ever had your DHEA levels checked?

In May I began supplementing with DHEA and Pregnenolone because my levels were very low. My DHEA was 64 and my Pregnenolone did not register. I began supplementing with 50 mg of DHEA for about six weeks and then went down to 25 mg. In July my DHEA-s had risen to 334. I am now supplementing with 25 mg of Pregnenolone too.

That's pretty high I wouldn't consider DHEA, are you using HCG? Your testosterone is on the low side 515, have you considered increasing your dose.

Have some hCG but haven't started it yet. I may increase the T dose to 100 or 110 and do 1 X weekly since I need more estro. On a 1 X week T dose when would be a good time for HCG?

While that might increase estrogen, your levels will be swinging do to lower SHBG. Your ability to hold onto your testosterone is compromised since SHBG is low. Once weekly for a guy with SHBG at 12, that's the wrong move.

You should be doing everyday injection, once large weekly injection will see levels falling dramatically by the end of the week.

25 mg every night of DHEA raised min e2 from mid teens to low 30's. Might try that. Agree with Vince , HCG can do it as well. Many guys on here complain that e2 gets too high on either of the above mentioned items.

In all honesty when my testosterone levels were as low as yours my estrogen was lower than yours. I increased my testosterone, I do 16 mg daily, I inject 500 IU of HCG twice a week and supplement with 10 mg of pregnenolone and 25 mg of DHEA, I've never used an AI. Here's my last Labs I had in June. If I have time later I'll look for my estrogen levels when my testosterone was at 500.

I did have the wrong estradiol test that. It was the Roche ECLIA methodology test that usually show higher levels then the sensitivity test.

That is pretty close. So I may be able to bring E2 into normal range by just raising the weekly test dosage

That's if you do daily injections, if you inject twice a week I would try 70 mg of testosterone twice a week so a 140 mg weekly. I inject testosterone cypionate. Any chance you be willing to inject HCG along with your testosterone?
