low dose test is working

I just raised my Test Cyp dose from 10 mg/ day to 12 mg/day back in late December, so 84 mg per week. I am test cyp only. I was running total T in mid 600 rannge and free T in 16-18. Labs came back today at total T 929, (264-916) Free T 20.0 (7.2-24) E2 25.2 (8.0-35). While it was a 20% increase in dosage, I certainly got more than 20% increase in labs. I feel good, libido is strong. Energy is good. Still need viagra or Cialis most days. Especially mid week. We running without it I can always get up, but may not make it thru the entire event. So I just take it to be safe as I never know if it is a good day or not. HCT still running mid 52 to 54. I did donation 3 weeks before this lab work and came back 52.2 and I was very hydrated.

I have a consult next week with Dr Calkins. I think I will discuss with him switching esters and get his opinion, be great to get HCT in line a bit more. But, I am pretty dialed in so why switch?

Funny that my SHBG has always been mid 40-50 This set of labs came back 34.1 ( 19-76) . I always thought SHBG remained pretty constant. Apparently not.

It always amazes me how we all are so different in our treatment of HRT. Some guys seem to have absolutely useless and horrible experience and others great. Some guys here told me no way 10 mg a day would do anything for me, but it did. 12 is better but only a smidgen. I will not try to go higher, no need.

Interesting to me personally, After major dosage reductions, and Hellish withdrawl symptoms over many months, I had been on 84/week dosed 24mg QOD for a long while and was doing pretty well. But I'd like to get off anastozole so first tried nudging AI dose down from 0.0625 QOD, but every time I start bloating again. So I have been trying to reduce T dosage. I'm in the midst of reducing to 22mg QOD, and not doing well. Bad enough that I gave up this morning and went back to 24mg. I am not 100% certain the my current discomfort is due to the T reduction, but the symptoms are consistent with every other reduction I've done.

Your numbers at 84/wk are very similar to mine, including SHBG in the 40s. LUckily for me HCT is fine, but E2 remains a problem without AI.

Blackhawk, exactlly my point. Somebody else may be on this protocol and have free below 10! I got e2 up to 32 ,due to HCG and dhea, and I was having anxiety and emotions and chest pains. Some guys do well with that high number or more. For me, heck no!!!

I have used almost exactly the same dose as you for a few years. I think overdosing T and other anabolics is a huge under-appreciated problem and possibly why many struggle.

Not really a big deal. The hope was it would help stabilize HCT. I can say it is somewhat better, but not a magic cure. I can probably go 3x a year instead of 4x for donation. 27 ga needle drawing up .06 mils takes about 35-40 seconds. So total time is 3 minutes from swab to tossing needle.

as I read I tend to agree. but I can understand why. 3 days after my first injection (which was two days ago) I felt 15 years younger. I can see how feeling normal can be just as addicting as a illicit substance.
