Fireproof Member Aug 17, 2016 #3 SubQ or IM are both fine. I find 1ml a lot to inject SubQ in abs and it leaves a knot - so I've been doing it into Quads. No pain and no knot. I do 1ml about 3-4 times per week. 31g insulin needle. Last edited: Aug 17, 2016
