So to double free t, maybe try getting your total t to double what it was prior to treatment, which would be 479 x 2 = 958. So if you tested >1500 on 250mg/ week, maybe try cutting the dosage in half which might leave you with a total t around 900 or so. I would drop down to something like 125mg/ week. Maybe 150mg/ week at most.
Definitely just lower your dose. Don't take an AI. It's going to take around 6 weeks for you to see where your levels are going to end up, but no reason you can't get labs done in 3-4 weeks to see where they're at. Obv they will be continuing to fall after that blood test, but it will give you a peak into where they are at. If blood tests aren't covered by insurance, and if money is tight, I would just wait the full 6 weeks. Me personally, I'm very inpatient lol, so if you're like me and can't wait, you can check around the 3-4 week mark just to get an idea. With this info, even knowing things will continue to fall, you can still make a pretty good educated guess on where things might end up. What is the free t range? I use quest for labs so not sure. Is the top of the range 18? Your free t before treatment was 9, so if you could just double that you would be at the top of the range.
