Hi, I got secondary hypogonadism and I had to take over my own TRT management due to TRT being quite unknown where I live. I have posted on ******** under Brucey C*****s in Testosterone Replacement Therapy Discussion.
I was using a very low dose from my doctor (250mg every 3 weeks) which was causing a weeks crash every 14 days. I got some sustanon 250 and have taken 250/1ml every 7 days for the last 3 weeks and my energy levels are much better and my strength is much better. I,m using Indian clubbells every day and getting 30 mins aerobic exercise done 3 times a week. An other poster commented that 250 every 7 days was too much. I was hoping for an improvement in my ED. I had been on TRT low dose for 3 months and I bought some Testim a few month ago. I was taking 250 mg every 2.5 weeks and topping up with a tube of Testim every day. My libido came back and ED was approx 20% better but not great really. I could not afford £188/month every month for Testim
I had hoped the 250 Sustanon / week would improve the ED but it has done little for this issue. I had better libido on the lower dose topped up with Testim. I am much better in terms of fatigue and achey muscles. I added HCG to protect my fertility and after reasearch I have been taking it 500UI on each of the 2 days prior to a T Injection. This week I noticed on both days after each HCG shot I would wake in the morning with the best erection I've had for years. I hung a towel on it!!!! Later on on the night of the second day for HCG with my Mrs - ED still very evident.
I'm asking for some help trying to figure out what is wrong. I'm beginning to think that my Estradoil may be too high. I am getting quite a few (counted near a doxen of them just now) - spots on my back ever since beginning injectable Testosterone and my facial skin is really greasy but I have always had quite greasy skin. No spots on my face though. Strangely I was on Testim for 5 months and I developed spots on my scalp which have now gone as I've stopped the Testim. My greasy skin is no worse now than without TRT. I did notice that my face was a bit "puffy" last week too.
I have ordered some Anastrozole 1mg tablets. They should get here in around 3 weeks. I was planning on taking a half tablet one day a week as well as the HCG. Then I noticed my HCG will go off before I have time to use it all so was considering adding another 500UI shot per week. I am unable to get blood work done for a while yet as it may be 2 months before I see an Endo Consultant. I took some Levitra 20mg today and still no woody like I had on the 2 mornings post my HCG shot and sensitivity is a bit dissapointing as well.
So Here is the Plan. 500UI HCG on Mon and Tuesday (into fat), sustanon 250/1ml on the wednesday with another 500 HCG as well. What is the best timing for the Anastrole 0.5 Mg half tablet? I did read about a guy who took 2 half tabs a week with a similar HGC regieme as I.
Over the last 3 weeks my nuts have began to expand a little but they are still far to tight rather than hanging low. Or would I be better reducing the Sustanon Dose to 200mg?
On the days I took the HCG this week I did notice myself a bit prone to being tearful but they were happy tears as I have finally got my energy back after 5 years of CFS. I'm a musician and the CD I was playing in my car was also making me "Greet" as we say here in Alba. I have also developed insomnia this week but I am prone to SAD (winter blues) and it is not unusual for my body clock to go a bit awry this time of year with winter settling in now. I have not slept for nearly 48 hours now and yeah had 6 mugs of strong coffee today but not since 4 hours ago. I am still wide awake. Being unable to get bloods done till I see my Endocrinologist could some fellow TRTers look at the evidence I've written here and perhaps offer some suggestions?
I am probably carrying 15% body fat now and have dropped 2 stones in weight since starting TRT around 8 months ago. Since beginning the HCG my appetite has been noticably less. I eat a high protein lowish carbs gluten free diet with mostly raw vegs and fruits. I'm diabetic with good blood sugar control.
