Never get tired of listening to Dr Khera. For me, a huge take away, is his opinion on hematocrit. 54% or less, not much of an issue. Over that, something to take care of.

Symptomatology is what truly matters.

One can easily be symptomatic with a hematocrit <54%.

Even then Dr.Khera tends to have his patients start phlebotomy once hematocrit hits 51% as he wants to avoid hitting that cut-off used by most in the know of 54-55%.

Dr. Helen Bernie hit the nail on the head with her response.
