I do have experience after being for more than 3 years on Bupropion XL (Wellbutrin XL) 150 mg/day. At first it creates a bit of euphoria, or "good" anxiety, not different from the one I got in the third week of TRT. You are motivated to do things, have this energy that you want to put to good use, not the one that overwhelms you such as when you have anxiety. I took it for adult onset ADHD (which in hindsight might have been low T) It tends to suppress appetite, your pulse tends to increase a little bit, it may increase libido at the beginning, particularly night time erections, but just like HCG and all the other honeymoons, it goes away after the body get's used to it and finds a new homeostasis. That's the reason they call it the "happy, skinny, sexy pill". It blocks reuptake of norepinephrine, which is responsible for the euphoria and excess energy as well as appetite suppression, and dopamine, which gives you a sense of optimism and go-get it feeling. Long term, as it happens, you descend into life, as things all of a sudden are normal and unexciting, like they are supposed to be. You may end up with a bit of high blood pressure (nothing major) and/or elevated heart rate, anxiety and insomnia, but again, you may not. Don't expect miracles, unless your problem is that you don't have enough norepinephrine and dopamine and Bupropion hits it on the nail. One good thing though, if you really need an antidepressant, is that it does not cause sexual dysfunction (at least not in me) and does not have any of the horrible side effects of SSRIs (like jaw clenching, and the like). Another benefit is that I was able to leave it cold turkey without major side effects. Insomnia and anxiety were the biggest issues for me. Polypharmacy is a bitch, and then you die. (Paraphrasing Life's a bitch....)
