How to Increase Absorption of Testosterone Gel

How do you apply the compounded gel cream? When I was using the cream I would rub over and over till the cream almost vanished. Do I do the same with the gel cream or just spread and rub once and let air dry?

FWIW
I use a compounded T cream from EmpowerRX at 200mg/ml of T.
I apply a 1/2 mil daily under my arm on the tricep (the muscle on the underside) after I shower in the morning.
That is about a 1/4 teaspoon of product.
Leaves NO residue.
The dispenser last me 2 months.
I self-pay, and that cost is less than my insurance co-pay.
Works exceptionally well for me.
