High mcv and mch

My mcv and mch have been creeping up over the last few years and now are both just half a point over the top of reference range. My doctor said taking some b12 might help. I'm on trt and my hematocrit is always in check mid 47s and I have heard that taking b12 with trt could cause hematocrit to go high. Has anyone saw their hematocrit go high when adding b12 with trt? Was gonna trt the jarrow formulas sublingual b12.

Red blood cell size and the amount of Hemoglobin they contain if you have not looked those up yet. I too have heard the B12, but there's also Folic Acid deficiency, which being OTC I might try that first.

Does the doctor that recommended B12 prescribe the testosterone?

There are a couple of other causes too, and you could always check B12 and folic acid levels before supplementing.

My hematocrit has never been a problem maybe that's why they aren't concerned about me trying b12. He just said to try b12 and see if my mcv and mch improved on my next blood test before running an actual b12 test. I was just stating in my post that I heard trt plus b12 causes a problem for some and since I've never had hematocrit issues I'd like to keep it that way lol.
